I was actually talking to another distributor an hour ago about finding one in lower Alabama area. Currently the closest would be Atlanta, Huntsville Alabama or having @nyinstaller come to you. If you have a couple in the area wanting an install then that will make the travel fee lower or obsolete if there are multiple. He can also do the new anti carjacking optionCurious if anybody knows an installer in lower Alabama. 1 hour from Birmingham and Columbus Georgia
Not currently but I could add one if you know of a shop there that is knowledgeable of vehicle systems and wanting to make money. Closest installer would be several hours away. Denver, dallas, phoenix, tulsa ect. Can have someone come to you if you would likeAny installers in New Mexico?
Looks like I've located two that are a little closer. Kennesaw Georgia and Lilburn GA. Those might work, I wish I could find an installer that was in Columbus, GA or Montgomery, AL.I was actually talking to another distributor an hour ago about finding one in lower Alabama area. Unfortunately I can’t make businesses want to make money. I have triedLooks like I've located two that are a little closer. Kennesaw Georgia and Lilburn GA. Those might work, I wish I could find an installer that was in Columbus, GA or Montgomery, AL.
Haha I know man but those locations are only a two hour drive. How long does it typically take to install? That might help my decision as well with planning.Unfortunately I can’t make businesses want to make money. I have triedif you know of a good shop wanting to come on board let me know.
Just IGLA itself can be 1 hour to 3 hours depending on location chosen and the installer. I can do a trx in about 40 minutes, others about 1-1.5.Haha I know man but those locations are only a two hour drive. How long does it typically take to install? Anyplace in Utah?
Not at this time. We can have my mobile dealer come to you. If you know of a shop that would be a good fit to become a dealer then we can make it happen and knock yours out during shop trainingAnyplace in Utah?

In order for a warranty to be voided whatever is done needs to directly correlate the issue at hand and even then just that component/system is voided. IGLA cuts no wires and just “T’s” into the harness. Compustar also cuts no wires an connects the same way. You might be able to find compustar installation stuff online, IGLA you will not and no information will be provided or location it is installed given, sorry.@Air’d outSRT
Sorry in advance for sort of hijacking this thread, but I think you are experienced enough to help me and I don't enough posts under my belt here to send you a direct message.
I'm starting to investigate security systems. I've done about a days worth of research and I think that I like the Igla Anti Theft (Immobilizer) system and the Compustar Pro R5 (Alarm & Monitoring) system.
However, I did come across a consideration that I had not thought about which is the risk to a manufacture's warranty. I cannot seem to find installation guides for these products and I'm a little worried that they splice into the existing wiring harness. At least Igla's site says that it won't void the auto manufacture's warranty, but not why (or how it gets installed).
Any thoughts here?
Thank you so much for the response! That actually helps a lot. Knowing no wires are cut does make me feel better about it for sure. Basically, the Infotainment system is what I am primarily worried about. In order for a warranty to be voided whatever is done needs to directly correlate the issue at hand and even then just that component/system is voided. I'm actually on the WI/MN border. I'm going to get the Igla from Tyler @ Saint Nordic Custom Autoworks (MN)The Wisconsin dealer is one of mine and is a wizard at installing compustar and now IGLA
IGLA and compustar have nothing to do with the uconnect. Not coded for or on that circuit to even try. R5 is a singe button proximity remote. Without drone you just have lock, unlock, remote start and can get into remote functions and turn proximity on and off. Drone also has the lowest subscription price I have seen, 3 years for $287 and is transferable to either the new owner or your next vehicle if drone is installed there too. Thats 1.5 less Starbucks coffees a month, don’t see how thats expensiveThank you so much for the response! That actually helps a lot. I haven't yet decided if I'm also going to get the Compustart R5. Seems like the features I want are hidden behind a fairly expensive Drone Mobile subscription.
Even better. I just envision this horrible image of something going wrong with the infotainment system, having to replace it, and then some tech blaming it on a mod I've had installed.IGLA and compustar have nothing to do with the uconnect. Not coded for or on that circuit to even try.
I don't really know how to respond do that. 2024 ranger has IGLA firmware but not sure compatibility with a raptor model, Compustar doesn’t show compatibility yet but might be a carryover. $8 a month for 3 years or $6 for 5 years isn’t subjective, thats literally pennies.Even better. Truthfully, I hadn't even thought about it before. I was looking at installation guides for hooking into central locking for the ARB Hard Lid (if they ever come to the states), and they actually crimp wires together.
I'm less worried if there is an actual plug.
By the way, if I hadn't stated it before -- I'm getting a 2024 Ranger Raptor. I just couldn't find what I needed on the ranger or raptor forums.
