Shoutout to Mike at Diamond Auto Security Solutions for my IGLA/Compustar/Drone install! He fit me in on short notice yesterday to help me safeguard my TRX before a possible deployment. Explained everything, walked me through the set up, and is there for any questions that pop up in the future.

I can’t get Demon to respond to me to save my life. Moral of the story is I think we need another mid-Atlantic/southeast installer. Anyone wanna start a business? Lol

Just had my IGLA installed by @nyinstaller and couldn't be happier. He came to my house and installed it on Father's Day in the 100+ degree weather. The whole transaction was extremely smooth and he explained all of the features. If you are needing an IGLA in the DFW area, I highly recommend him.

Thanks Bullitt68, I'll be looking for an installer soon. I'm up in N.W. Arkansas and there just aren't any installers close to me.. (or even close to my route back from Granger, if my truck ever gets shipped)..

Have you tried Patriot Performance in Hubert, Nc? He said he could do mine the next day but just depends on his schedule. I'm taking mine to him for IGLA after learning the Sc installer has dropped the ball. Patriot doesn't do Drone but if IGLA does its job I don't see a need for it.

Demon? Don’t have them on my list of installers. The only on in SC is in Spartanburg

Those guys want to be installers and I've been getting the run around since March. They don't have the systems and/or haven't contacted to get the training. They don't return calls and definitely led me to believe that they were up and running installers. I might try Demon as they are close but I see issues on here with them so Patriot(4hrs away) will be the go to guy.

Thanks even though Demon is just mins. Away Spartanburgh isn't that far from me.

Regarding IGLA installers near Charlotte NC, I have spoken to Ron at Patriot, he says he is the only NC installer, but he is almost 5 hours away. The folks in Spartanburg SC; I just called them and they don't have the installer working there anymore. Was really hoping to find somebody closer. Maybe some nice off road trails between Charlotte and Ron's place to make the drive more fun?

Just be aware these are 2 different animals, people sometimes get them confused.

IGLA and Ravelco prevent the theft. (Unless they have a Tow truck)

Compustar alerts you someone is in the process of stealing your truck.

Yes I understand, but I was also informed that Compustar will kill the power to the starter , I also am going to go with this other system that kills the power to the brake as well , this also requires a personal pin , no brake no start , compustar alerts and they don't stick around.

There is no longer an installer in SC and if you know of a place in SC or even NC that is interested in possibly getting trained and start installing them don’t hesitate to message me. I was talking to Ron an hour ago about setting up or help him set up 2 more NC shops. I am actually going to be talking to him in a few and will see where these shops are located. I have several in the charlotte area that have reached out and wants installs so again, if you know of an automotive security or audio shop wanting to get into it let me know please

Regarding IGLA installers near Charlotte NC, I have spoken to Ron at Patriot, he says he is the only NC installer, but he is almost 5 hours away. The folks in Spartanburg SC; I just called them and they don't have the installer working there anymore. Was really hoping to find somebody closer. Maybe some nice off road trails between Charlotte and Ron's place to make the drive more fun?

Confirmed both potential shops are in the Charlotte area, one just north of Conrad and the other south east around the Matthews area I think. Getting the details in the next day or two and then training either with them going to Ron or me sending our trainer there (member of this forum) I will keep you updated and will let you know if they need a vehicle or more to have them watch it be installed on if you are interested

I'm in Columbia and need an install. I was going tp Patriot but Charlotte is 1 hour from me so id be interested as well.

^ This is the best thing to remember if you get these two systems together...

While it seems so simple to comprehend, when you first get the system, you overthink it...

I just had my system installed at "Audio Northwest" in Lacey, WA. They did a great job on the install, Very clean...

And the Owner, Jesse, great guy. And he helped me through my initial confusions,(regarding this issue anyway!). And he was available via telephone last night well after closing time. Cool...

But I also want to give another shout out to @Air'doutSRT, and all his "Russian Gadgetry" expertise, helping everyone with their questions here on the forum...
