Koons Help

Just come clean.

The truth is you are probably from PG county which means you are 30 minutes from Koons. They said you were going to get a refund so you said to yourself “sweet, I can order the graphics and step for $400 and save $500 from what I originally ordered.”

Then your plan went sideways when they said “he bring in the truck we will make it right” so you have spent the last two months making excuses and begging for sympathy on this forum.

If you were any more transparent you would have to change your scree name to Casper.
So let me gets this straight.

You think I planed to have my items missing and then for them to day I can get a refund so I can save like 1k on a 90k plus truck?

LMAO

You are out of your mind.

Also where is PG County not a native?

You are a clown. Never said you planned for this to happen but when it did you came up with a plan to save $1000.

Nice try on the PG county thing princess. You bought your Jeep in Waldorf, you know EXACTLY where PG county is located…you most likely live in it.

I do not know where it is. I looked up the vehicle in 5 different places and found where the I could get the best deal. I almost bought it in Virginia Beach. I am not a native so I have no idea where it is but since you know me so well I guess I do.

The fact the Koons isn't responding is bad sign. If they truly did care about fixing the situation or there name they would speak up.
I am almost 💯 sure you have called them at least 17 times daily about this. And by now, they are sick of repeating the same friggin solution a hundred times. They said, bring it here, we’ll fix it. Eventually, yes, they are going to ignore your whining ass, if you won’t make the trip. Fu&@ bourbon, I need diazepam!

Can I ask what manager you were dealing with?

I want to support the OP but i just don't see anything to support. Just to be clear. I live in Alabama and do not work for Koons either. My order is with Mark Dodge.

Ok I respect that.

If you don't mind me asking what do you not support.

Also for more clarification on why I don't want to go into the dealership.

Yes it's only a 2:30 to 3:00 drive for me but that will end up being a $100 - 250 trip in gas. Also when I get there I will also not know if they will talk to me or work with me on the situation. Next I also don't want to go in there and be labeled as causing a scene or difficult. I already had that feeling when I bought the TRX because of trade-in issues and me not wanting to use there financing.

OP, if you are seriously worried gas money, maybe this was not the truck for you.I am not rich, by NO means whatsoever, and I daily mine for 90-100 a week in gas. That’s driving locally, on my trips to Lynchburg VA for work, it’s almost tripled. Make the damn trip, take a day off of work during the week, your chances on the GM being there will be greater.

If you got it from KOONs take it to KOONs, the dealership that sold you the car will always fix the situation regardless of buying process you had with them, don't get too emotional about it KOONs is a high volume dealership if they can't get back every time is cause they have done delt with situations like this before they trying to provide you that customer service. You don't need to go talk to the sales you go in and talk to the service tech and get it done, matter infact the time it took you to reply and defend yourself on here they could have fixed the issues.

I get that you had problems and you aren't the only one. Problems take time to resolve and the dealership has steps to follow so they're reimbursed by the factory. They are a very high volume dealer and are dealing with a huge number of sales. Everything I'm basing my opinion off of is your side. I haven't heard Koons side and it seems like everyone here is going against you. That should give you some idea that either you have told us incorrectly or maybe you could have handled this better. With you going aftermarket before this was resolved i really have no idea how it can be handled now.

The topic of the rear ambient lighting got lost in this thread at some point. Did you ever figure out how to turn on your rear ambient lighting or is it missing?

It's missing and I asked my closest dealer and they said I have to talk to the selling dealer.

Why tag them when he won't drive down there and have them take care of his issues.

So drive down there and get it taken care of, FFS man up.
Dude he asked me a question and I responded. You have said your peace now just move on.

Everything is speculation with only one side of the story. Would be helpful if we heard both sides.
