Koons Help

Also I asked the form when I found out they were missing and it was a concensus to get them refunded and not have the dealership put them on.
Relying on opinions from the forum instead of working through the process of getting it resolved by the dealer was probably a bad choice. You have a concensus of a group of people that can do NOTHING to help you.

I don't think people are blaming you for missing it. I think that people are just a little surprised that you aren't working with the dealership that is trying to resolve it. Like someone said above, you are probably going to have to sell the factory parts since you made the decision to purchase other items before it was resolved. Maybe Koon's will be nice and refund it, but they really aren't obligated to.

That's the problem I have been trying to worl with the dealership. My post clearly says that form the get go. They asked me how I wanted to proceed with options and I chose refund to witch they agreed. According to RAM care they do have an obligation to.

Most attorneys that I know will not just write a letter without a consultation fee and an additional retainer fee for more work after the letter. The actual experience of attorneys is that a letter just leads to a response back from their attorney and more work.
. . .my time is extremely valuable to me. If a situation not created by me and due to another party not doing the right thing causes me to waste my time to insure they make it right - I do not mind paying attorney’s fees to insure said party does the right thing period. Every situation is different, but the fact they don’t even return his calls or emails pretty much tells me they don’t care at this point.

Fair enough. I always advise my clients against spending more money on me than it is worth, but we also love clients that insist on doing just that!

. . .if people would just do the right thing, wouldn’t need the Esquire’s services.
Well to be fair to Koons, we're only hearing 1 side of it and even that side says the dealership is willing to make it right by installing the missing parts. Everyone probably knows I'm not the biggest Koons fan as I think they're generally a conveyor belt dealer who pads their deals with extra fees and conditions so they can look like the best deal but make the money up on the backend. But in this case it sounds like they're trying do what they're required to do, that may not be the buyer's first choice but it is a sufficient solution.

. . .agree completely. But the fact they are not returning calls or emails (if that is so) speaks volumes and tarnishes any credibility of them actually following through.

Give them time to do the right thing. I've had similar things happen. RAM messed up a Sport 1500 order for me in 2014. The rear end gear ratio was wrong. it took awhile to try to work around it because it is a different axle housing. I was patient and ended up with a replacement truck that was a year newer and was given a lifetime Maximum Care warranty for the new one. I was patient and worked with them to resolve it. Sometimes being patient when things are messed up pays amazing dividends.

. . .but what does one do when they’re not getting calls or emails returned? How much patience is prudent or foolish in that scenario?

You know, I watch for things that seem off. First, this dude has made at least two threads bitching about this same thing. Then this guy says he “is from another state” to claim sympathy. Then when I call him on it because he is from Maryland and Koons is in N Virginia, he claims he is literally the max distance in the state possible to excuse not going there (while entirely possible, there aren’t many folks that live in Western Maryland or the eastern shore near OC), then I see he updates his profile to eliminate the state he is from instead putting USA.

Finally, Koons is ALL over these forums. The fact they are saying nothing on this thread also says a lot.

Like I said, maybe just the least lucky, laziest person in the world but it feels like dude is trying to make money because he regrets getting the hood graphics.

Resell the graphic, you won’t lose any money and resell the step, you won’t lose any money and go have them fix the situation…this ain’t rocket surgery.

Lmao I keep mentioning it because I'm trying to find another resource and the first post was talking about my experience. I changed my location because I didn't realize it publicly states where I am from and kinda don't want that just plastered everywhere.
Make money off of what? What money is going to be made on getting a refund on my parts. It's a refund meaning I paid for them already.

Oh and for the record, he traded his Jeep that was bought at Darcars….which all of which are in the same area I live….which is at most 45 minutes from Koons.

You have posted in multiple threads that you are from Maryland…..try again.

Is your name Eminem? Cause you strike me as the REAL slim shady.

And has been posting about this since 20 June….

DRIVE TO KOONS

The fact the Koons isn't responding is bad sign. If they truly did care about fixing the situation or there name they would speak up.

or that you are a fucking Karen that won’t take any of the legal, reasonable offers they made so they aren’t going to publicly discuss it with you any further.

They gain nothing from that…you have made yourself look like a fool for two months

Why are you defending them?
Do you work for the dealership?

Just come clean.

The truth is you are probably from PG county which means you are 30 minutes from Koons. They said you were going to get a refund so you said to yourself “sweet, I can order the graphics and step for $400 and save $500 from what I originally ordered.”

Then your plan went sideways when they said “he bring in the truck we will make it right” so you have spent the last two months making excuses and begging for sympathy on this forum.

If you were any more transparent you would have to change your scree name to Casper.

Nope. I work at the Pentagon…but nice try deflecting the questions.

And I am not defending anyone, the question is why are you not giving the whole REAL story.
