Kleinn Custom Fit Air Horn question(s)..

I got the kit...and despite the negative posts on it...it is pretty good so far....infancy stages of mounting it..more to follow...

1. Those of you that have it, what fuse location did you use for the pressure switch?

2. Where did you put the auxiliary connection point? (I.E. the air tank quick disconnect to use the system as an air compressor.)

I retro fitted Klein kit on a 2007 Escalade back in the day and custom fabbed brackets for the horn on the inside of the skid plate and the tank and compressor in the engine bay. Can't provide specifics on how to go about it on the TRX but I would avoid putting the tank in the engine bay....accelerated corrosion from the hot and cold cycles. I would put the whole system off one of the trucks aux switches to ensure a random leak doesn't drain the battery at night. This thread may be helpful with ideas and people who have TRX specific experience:

Thanks… yeah thinking about putting the pressure switch on one upfitter and the horn on another.
