They are fine . There are many enthusiasts forums , mainly jeeps, addressing this question.
That said I have a full kit for sale in classifieds ( no compressor included )

Three years running with compressors in the engine bay on the 1500, 2500, and 3500s with no issues.

This kit offers just the mount for the ARB Twin compressor. The tank would only be necessary for running high volume air tools.

Also, an air tank under the hood can be controversial, as heat will play a massive roll in pressure and consistency. I'll see if I can effectively articulate the specs in the next few days.

I've had an ARB twin compressor under my hood for about 18 months now. Works just as the day I got it! These things are made to withstand.

It is. Also nothing wrong with Brawler Fab at all! I started a design like theirs, but they were first to market so I did something different.

I bought the portable ARB twin with tank because I thought it would be nice to move it into different cars. I used it once for 4 days off roading and decided it was a hassle so immediately mounted it when I got back. It is so much better mounted.
