Made it home right after install with 300gal of some good E85 💪🏻

Those 250ft-lb are no joke. Did you trim or remove the spare tire heat shield?
For sure it maxed out my digital TQ wrench.

All the under bed spare tire stuff has been cut out ever since I got the chase rack.

Well hot damn guys, the Kibbe links completely fixed the rear end for me. Truck is on rails and no longer feels like the rear is floating!
Much more confidence inspiring to keep it pinned in the corners.

Yea. Ram should not have used the power wagon joints.
It really needs a more solid joint that articulates like a Johnny joint.

Even though the rear shocks have 12.5 travel, they can only travel 11.25-12 inches (12 if you stand on the rear axle to push it down)

With aftermarket arms/joints, the links don’t bind. But you might want to consider droop straps or have a shock that is tuned to have a stiff droop out zone

Planning to weld up some limit straps for sure!

Curious how difficult was the hydro bumps in the rear? Any mods/cutting/trimming needed or bolt-on/plug & play?

Pretty easy the hardest part is dropping the rear axle far enough and then using spring compressors to get the springs out. They bolt right in pretty straight forward.

2.0 bump kits don’t need any modifying.

2.5 bump kits need to dremel open the rubber that the factory bump “dildo” slides through. Like 2 mm of the rubber needs sanding off

Not all that bad. If you do links with heims or loosen the link bolts the axel will swing out of the way a little further.
My 2.0 bumps WILL NOT adjust far enough to get complete compression out of the rear end without opening up the round hole in the upper coil spring bucket to allow the bump to screw in more. For some reason King designed them to sit off center from the hole.
Reached out to king and they said it is what it is.
It’s not a significant amount of travel but with the springs removed and the bumps compressed there is still about 1” of shock shaft showing.
Taking the compression of the derlin bump pad into consideration you’re losing about .5”-.75” of travel if anyone cared.

Has anyone played with the pressures in the kings? Bumps and shocks?

Yes. The oem links stop the axle from drooping all the way.

Apparently there is no rhyme or reason so to some trucks getting more drooping than others.

My truck would droop below the oem shock capability no problem.
The white test truck, also a 22, would not droop the full distance of the oem shocks.

Going with Foutz or mazzula or kibble tech arm, or (for those who don’t want to spend a fortune,) call core4x4 and tell them I sent you. They have trx links as well. That will allow you full droop

I’ve played with bump pressure in the rear
Started at 115…. 125-130 has been a sweet spot for me

That’s 2.5 bumps though.

What about shocks?

I would just leave them at what they spec’d.

They tuned them for that pressure. And I think they are already at 200 psi. If you need to hit 230-240 to solve any issues, then you need to tune the shims.
Rears should have a ton of adjustment with the bypass tube s

Truck has been doing good just wishing I had more shock up front. To get it to handle the hard hits I have to crank the compression up a good bit but then it’s rough in the light stuff.
Love the king/kibbe setup but will absolutely be going LT down the road.

Bottomed the front out so hard 2 days ago at 90 that it left burn strips in the fender liners lol.
