Man, I bet all those plastic parts were a pain in the ass to get get smoothed out! How many prime/sand cycles did you have to go through? I'll tell you, it takes a special talent to paint! I tried ONCE! It turned out bad! And the prep, especially on those textured parts to get them smoothed out! I admire your patience as much as your skill! I can do a vinyl wrap, because if you fuck it up, you can peel it off, hit it with the head gun, and lay it back down. Painting, especially the clear coat, it's not so easy to fix! I can't wait to see it all done!

Yes sir , the bumpers and the wheel lips have a gritty texture that is small so we sanded them and them used a primer filler 2 coats then sanded them smooth with 600grit then they was ready to seal and color. Its just time consuming for sure. thx.

Will you be taking it off road or just street use?

Will you put the clear film on high impact areas to protect new painted areas?

thanks

I love everything about this thread, keep up the good work man!

As others have said, can't wait to see this completed. That Hydro blue is really growing on me.
BTW - whose LT4 engine is in pic 3? Is there a C7 Z06 out there missing an engine. ;)
Should have it done next week .
the LT4 is going into a custom 59 corvette with a roadster shop chassis. the last car I do before retiring . lol
of course the guy with the vette profile picture notices the lt4. Have a Chevelle and c10 on roadstershop chassis and its incredible.
