Fuel Door or Gas Cap lock

I'm actually more concerned about getting dirt and stuff in there. Where my truck will be going, there is really fine silt that will clog fuel filter and injectors real quick.

yes, of course that is also the reason. If someone could make something like that, but for TRX, it would be perfect !

I saw these and it says they don't fit 2021 or newer.
Yes, I unfortunately know that too. But if someone made it for older models, they could make it for new models too, right? The question is how many pieces and at what price to make it worthwhile to produce ...
You have it easier, if you really want it just because of the dirt, then pull out a condom or a party balloon there. The solution is also to print a "blanking plug" on a 3D printer. But to protect ourselves from "curious people", we will really need something more sophisticated.

I saw a bunch of guys just used rubber pvc ends. Works perfect for what I need ha.

Can anyone confirm to me that this will really fit? On the red TRX, it would look good and it would solve the problem with the lockable
tank.

Anyone ever confirm or answer you about this?

We had a problem with dirt getting into the tank of the GM trucks.
And some thefts. A long thin tube will open the small inner flap. . But that flap let’s tons of dirt in.

So anyways there is a generic locking cap that fits. It’s not awesome but it works. And then there is the rubber pipe top… that’s what I use on my colorado.

Had a friend clog the fuel pump on one silt trip on his truck. The amount of money he spent on that diagnosis.

A cap is on my list for certain. And a locking one for any vehicle sitting outdoors while gas is $5.60 a gallon.

I admit to being a little shocked... at the amount of people who buy a vehicle in this price range, that don't have an accepting garage for it....

Sure, someone can steal gas while your at the mall.... But who the fuck goes to malls??

Hotels. Restaurant, movie, cocktail…
You’d be surprised how short of a time people leave their cars for them to be stolen or burglarized, stripped, syphoned… broad daylight in front of tons of people.

No one is going to stop them. Left society has been clear, you will be prosecuted if you try to stop a crime but rewarded if you commit a crime.

Point taken, but your vehicle spends a majority of it's non moving life, at your house..... Personally, I would never park anything other than a beater outside, night after night.

Mine doesn’t stay in a garage, I also go to malls. You should try it. Being around the public also might help you with your filthy mouth.

If I couldn’t park my daily driver (which this is) in my driveway, id be buying a house in a better neighborhood instead of a new truck.

Doubtful...

Fuck that, I'll never go to a mall again as long as the transportation industry holds up. :p

And kudos to your gravitas, regarding outdoor parking and mall visitation with a 80k truck.

It's just a personal decision, But if I had the choice of having a 93 Civic in my 3 car garage, Or a nice ride parked on the street at my condo, I'm rolling in the Civic..... YMMV.
