Flush Mount/ Integrated LED Light bar for TRX front bumper.

I have one on order, and want to check this when it comes in. How do you distinguish between right-side-up and upside-down?
When you watch the install instructional video, you'll notice that the wire coming out of the back is on the passenger side of the light bar when he instructs to tuck it behind the bumper. Mine happened to be on the drivers side, so I thought that was kinda odd when doing the initial install. However, it was quite simple to loosen the two nuts holding it onto the housing, and just flip it around.

Get this..... The light bar was installed upside down inside the housing! It was pretty simple to pull it out and just flip it around, so I'm all good now. Weird that it came that way though.
Wow, that’s super strange. Good catch.

The light is not compromised from the bottom grille and you can fit a 30 in light bar down there. the flush mount you have to drill and add threaded inserts.

Wait, hold up. I installed mine about 6 months ago(I was part of the pre-order group last September). I thought it was odd that the power cable came out the driver side on mine, and the installation video shows the power cable coming out the passenger side. I just figured that was a post production change they made, and maybe the install video was with a pre production unit. Did you confirm this with @Oracle Lighting @ORACLE ?? I'm going to be pissed if I have to remove mine to flip the light bar in the housing and reinstall again. I've heard it's a real pain in the ass to remove the plugs to get to the bolts(I saw a post on here where a guy drilled a hole in each plug in order to get them out). FML if this is the case!

Can anybody else please confirm which side your power cable comes out on?

Yes, I confirmed this with Oracle tech support. I had to drill a very small hole in the little plugs to pull them out. The rest only took me a couple minutes.

Were you able to make a significant adjustment? I need to get a photo of mine at night to show how ridiculously high it is. Driving down the road, it's literally shining at the top of trees about 100 yards in front of me.
Yes, and it is easy to adjust. The pic below is the "before" pic. I have not taken an "after" pic.

When I first installed my oracle lightbar it did not have the gap that many folks ended up with after installation. Over time the gap appeared and I was not sure why it would occur out of the blue. It is strange but on some days the gap is gone altogether and the next day it is easily an 1/8th of an inch. I have tightened and loosened the mounting bolts but nada. I would have paid more for an aluminum housing compared to the cheap plastic that is used. The light bar might come off in the near future. I still have a brawler fab mounting bar laying around somewhere.

Is it because of expansion?

The one I bought has the wire coming out of the drivers side too. So you are saying this is wrong and I need to take it apart and turn it upside down? I wish @Oracle Lighting @ORACLE would address this before I install

I recon. I live in socal like you and there is not that big of diff in weather each day. 🤷‍♂️
Weird. You mean 50-75 degrees isn't a big difference?! haha

Maybe try some hot glue on the plug to pull on before drilling a hole in it? How tight is the plug?

Here is an alternative design we have been working on which utilizes some very efficient and durable LED emitters we use in a similar application. The LED light modules would be made up of individual 30W 2" LED emitters. These ORACLE exclusive LED emitters are extremely powerful and have a very nice blacked-out appearance. In addition to the blacked-out look, another obvious benefit of individual modules opposed to a single light bar is that the modules can be replaced if damage (rock chip, etc) were to happen opposed to a full light bar which would ruin the entire unit.

These LED modules produce approximately 2,000Lm max each giving the setup a total of 14,000 Lumens.

This initial concept is a little rough, there is still some contouring and refining that needs to be done but here are a couple quick renderings demonstrating what this setup would look like:

When will this design be available, I love it!!

So I just talked to Oracle today and the white light bar is expected to be in stock mid May.

There is a bolt on each end. Loosen those and the lights separate from the housing

May be slightly overtorqued, back the bolts out a 1/4 turn and see if that helps.
There is a discussion on here about which side the power cord should exit from. The install video shows it coming out of the passenger side. Some are being delivered, mine included, with the power cord coming out of the drivers side. One member said his was delivered with the power cord exiting the drivers side of the housing and his lights were aimed much too high. He rrrd

However some units, including mine, are being delivered with the power cord exiting the drivers side. One forum member said this made his light shine too high and he had to switch the lights to make the power cord exit the passenger side to get the light aimed correctly. What is the official word from Oracle on this?

Same thing happened with mine. I sent oracle a message. I’m pulling it off for now - the warping makes it look like it doesn’t fit the truck. Looks like shit really.
