First Mod?

You are correct, I was looking at the Terra Grappler G2 that are available in S and R rating and posted the link for the trail grappler
I have those on my current Ram and absolutely love them. Plus I cant believe the amount of tread left after 50k miles.

Cooper STT Pros or Toyo MTs.
I never had a set of Coopers but a buddy just put them on his Tundra. They look good and the tread pattern is legit. I don’t know how the wear will be.
I have had Toyo‘s though. I liked them a lot. Good grip and wear. They felt a little stiff though. This is gonna be a heavy truck but not diesel heavy. So I tend to want a slightly softer ply so that I don’t feel every crack in the road or manhole cover. The suspension should help in this regard as well but I have KING off-road suspension which is tunable and those things are noticeable depending on the tires you run. Cheers

ATI 10% lower, HP Tuners with custom tune by Josh at performance Dyno NH, idler, HD Gates Belt, catless mids. These same mods were the first thing I did to my HellCat Challenger and it made 771 RWHP and 721 RWT. I can only imagine how awesome this truck will be with the same mods. The best part about it all? It will cost you less then $4k.

I have modified nearly every vehicle I have owned. Currently driving a 2008 Tundra Suprcharged and KING suspension. It is a beast off-road but this TRX will make it seem tame. I can’t imagine 700 HP in the off-road environment. The TRX a will be the Corvette of Off-road. However, were this truck comes in in stock form, performance now becomes completely determined by the pilot.
Hell, I’d bet a pro Baja Trophy Truck racer in my Tundra would smoke almost any amateur. But I haven’t driven this TRX a yet, it could be that good. In stock form mind you. ?
But I am thankful for guys like you that push the limits. Keep It up.

I’m not sure if you are familiar with RipaTuned but they make a lower sleeve that slightly increases boost and adds about 60whp without any sort of tuning. Pretty slick and people on the HellCat world love them. The sleeve is easy to remove and doesn’t require tuning which keeps your “warranty”.

I was not familiar with this. Thanks. This is my first ever FCA vehicle. I had never considered them before until I read the reviews of the RAM trucks and the awards. I am very excited to test it out.
So this may be a dumb question but what’s a lower sleeve?

Wireless apple car play.

I'm sad it doesn't come with it like uConnect5.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you add it in a way that integrates with the uconnect screen and pages? Does changing or adding a receiver mess with that at all?

I'm thinking about purchasing this adapter, I haven't tested it yet, but it seems to work with FCA's infotainment systems.

Hmmm I have not heard of this either. I think I will buy it now for my Dodge Charger and see how well it works. If anyone else has used this product please let me know what you think

My first mod might have to be raising my garage header and installing an 8 foot garage door. With the ram bar not sure how much height it will add to the truck.

You and I are on the same track! I've been considering that as well. I can safely remove 1 row of brick above my current garage door opening, stay with my 7' garage door and definitely fit the truck in.... but I'm waiting on my truck to arrive before I do any work, in the unlikely event it barely squeezes in.

I feel the pain, my first house after college had a 7' garage opening, my Jeep Rubicon didn't fit after I installed 40's and an 8" long arm lift which was a pain since I preferred it be topless as much as possible. Had a 12K winch on the front that I just left attached to the front axle and then installed a cheap 2500lb ATV winch under the back end and I would compress the suspension a couple inches from switches in the cab in order to get it through the door. Once the garage door was closed I could release the winches. My MegaCab 2500 never fit in that garage. An 8' garage opening was near the top of my must haves when I started house hunting last year.

had this idea and never executed.. you killed it. I live in south florida and at least 50% of the places i may visit have a parking garage i need to frequent.
my Powerwagon with a 2 inch Thuren lift and 37s and fits a 7 foot garage....or so i thought until i rubbed my roof on a sprinkler system.

Dont trust parking garage or service heights.

With you guys on this. Until we move into our new house, that is being built and won’t close on until May, my TRX will be in the driveway. Luckily, the new house has a 22’5 x 23’ two car with 16ft x 8ft door. Pretty sure we can fit the DSRT, TRX and both motorcycles comfortably. Also, has a 10ft x 20ft single with a 8ft x 8ft door. That will be more workshop/shed/workout space/golf cart storage.

Has anyone considered replacing the massive air filters with freer flowing ones like K&N to get more horse power? I'm not desert racing so I don't need the filtering capacity.
