Did you do this yourself or have a shop do it for you? How long did it take either you or the shop? Did you just add in exhaust pipe in place if the resonators/ mufflers?

Had our local muffler shop do it. They installed 3" pipe in place of mufflers and added hanger. 150.00
If I didn't like it, 150.00 to reinstall mufflers.
Will not be reinstalling mufflers..haha

The videos online for SLPs sound really good….but I also want bigger 5in tips….feels kind of like a Frankenstein if I put SLP mufflers with Borla tips. Has anyone else added other branded tips with the SLPs?

I just installed (an hour ago) the AWE exhaust and I like it, just a little more aggressive than stock but not so much your neighbors should hate you any more than they do now...

As far as any power gains it is impossible to tell but with one of the performance packages from SRT Autoworks looming in the near future, it should help coax all the ponies out of this beast!

You going Raptor Killer, right? The prospect of an SRT Autoworks package is haunting me lately. But, $7,500 just feels steeep for "only" ~100hp. I wish they did flex tunes like Dusterhoff. I think they were toying with the idea, but I can't find anything on it.

You going Raptor Killer, right? The prospect of an SRT Autoworks package is haunting me lately. But, $7,500 just feels steeep for "only" ~100hp. I wish they did flex tunes like Dusterhoff. I think they were toying with the idea, but I can't find anything on it.

I talked with them a little last year on my 22' but will be doing something soon on my 23'...They have a good reputation and of course are here in our backyard.

The Raptor Killer was what I thought about going with, with the AWE exhaust and a good CIA (leaning towards S&B) plus a couple more minor tweaks, that package might be closer to 125-140hp.

I’d recommend keeping it simple and going muffler delete with MRT or your local exhaust shop if you want to pay someone to work on your truck.

I really like this system and as many have said, this is how the TRX should have sounded from the factory! Relatively stock-ish if you baby her but wakes the Hellcat when you punch it to pounce on a Raptor

Bigboyz has tips that are direct fit for the trx, black, chrome and orange. Look pretty good and much better then stock, they don’t have the slant, which I like.

I went Borla atak, after having the slps. The slps sounded great, but the atak is the complete exhaust experience. The atak is a work of art with the Xpipe and mufflers.
