I had the exact same issue also only with the left side. What I found fixed it was that pushing the switch and bezel down like trying to rotate it from 9 o'clock toward 8 o'clock before tightening the bezel worked. Then the screw that goes in from the backside where the paddles are, to not make that too tight.

Ok. And did your heating wires look like mine? 2 thin strands wrapped in cloth?

yes and I was worried that they would short out, but no issues. I don't know if there is a specific left and right connector, so if you can maybe try to swap them?

Good idea. I think they’re specific but i will double check. I do think that my heating wires are probably touching each other somewhere though. I just kinda stuffed those in at the end and didnt pay attention

Big thanks to @Quietpeen for the advice! I loosened up the left side screw (behind the wheel) and clocked the bezel a little bit towards 8 o’clock, and reversed the wires for the heating element and Voila! Buttons work perfectly and dont stick and heating works!!! Whoop!

1 last Q:

Does the heat on the right (passenger) side of the wheel get hotter than the left? The right side got much hotter, much quicker and the left side never got nearly as hot as the right after about 5mins. Not a big deal as i use my heated wheel like 5x/year but just wondering

you would have to request a custom design and probably show them a picture of your steering wheel for them to match.
