I love both EHT and SJr. To this day, Stagg Jr. Batch 12 stands as one of, if not the, best pours I've ever had. For me, it was a blast of cherry that was easier to drink than it's proof would suggest. I'd love to find a bottle of B12, but I'm not willing to take out a second mortgage to buy it. lol

What's the fair price for Stagg JR?

The last couple Batch 12 bottles I've seen on secondary were in the $399-$499 range. The Booz app "fair price" range is about $150-$250, depending on batch. I'm not sure where people find it for those prices. Here in PA, we are state-controlled. So, Stagg drops online only and is gone in seconds. Plus, there hasn't been any Stagg here since early in 2022. I saw a bottle at a liquor store in Louisville for $500. It's crazy.

My wife and I had to move our son out of the dorms at TX State this weekend, and took the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary traveling over to Dripping Springs. There are quite literally breweries, wineries, and distilleries everywhere. We had already planned to see Treaty Oak Distillery (bourbon and gin) and Dripping Springs Distillery (vodka and gin…some bourbon too). I’d highly recommend both, and both have restaurants as well. We toured Treaty Oak and ate lunch there, then went to Dripping Springs Distillery and toured. Had a great time (we might have been a little toasted by the end), and came home with a haul! If you are in the Texas hill country, there are a ton of great places to check out.

Found a couple that have been out of stock for awhile. 12 year is excellent. Full Proof 125 has a kick to it, but very good flavor profile. Definitely recommend if you come across these. Cheers!

Picked up a couple Barrell Craft Spirts..... have been really enjoying finished whiskey lately. These are a definite recommend. They are both so different and delicious that I can't decide on which I like better! Cheers!

The 17-22 batches sell on secondary markets for roughly $250-$275 shipped. Pretty tough to find it in the wild here in NC.

Glad to hear that… I’ve been wanting to try one lately. A salesman at Total Wine tried to talk me into the Barrel Seagrass gray label last year, but I was looking for something else. After seeing more about Barrel Craft Spirits in general, I wish I’d grabbed it.

Standard Seagrass is excellent, I'm sure gray label is phenomenal.
