Dram of the Day

I actually thought it was good enough to stand with the other bottles easily. Buffalo Trace is my go-to, and of all the bottles in that photo my favorite ’expensive’ bottle was the Michter 10-year. Pappy/King of Kentucky/Eagle Rare 17-year are good, but not multiples better than the Michters (IMO).
Yeah, I’m a big fan of it. Buffalo trace is also up there for me as well. I’m a simple man lol

This worked out good. Cheers 🙂

Had some friends over for a bourbon sampling the other night, had an awesome evening. Some of these were unopened when the night began, and the only rule was that all bottles had to be opened by the end of the night. Cheers everyone!
KOK sighting....man what a pour that is! What were the favorites??

I finally tracked down a few really nice tequilas I was looking for. It took a trip to Fort Worth/Arlington (go karting with my son) and several stops around the metroplex to track them down, but a nice little haul! This was a “don’t tell mom” kinda trip 😂

Moved into a bigger house last year to allow our three boys room to grow. Bonus for me was the basement already had a decent bar built! Been stocking the shelves for about 12 months now.

Favorite current daily drinkers are bakers 107, Russell’s, and Johnny Drum.

Although I have been raised by a family that are notorious beer drinkers, I will challenge any whiskey-lid to say no to this! If you haven't had this? Do NOT refrigerate before consuming. Treat it like a fine bourbon and it will return in spades...

I can attest to KBS being one of the finest beers I have ever tasted. If you like that try some of the offerings from The Brewery, as they are superb as well.

Started getting back into this distillery’s products. I’m usually pretty skeptical of Spirits distilled in Indiana….but the Starlight products are LEGIT. If you find their “Indiana Corn Whisky” pick it up (and one for me as well). Lol.

This particular bottle is no slouch either. Lots of Carmel, a bit sweet, and very smooth with just a touch of heat.
