Finally went into CVS this morning and got my first Moderna stab.

At least I think I got it because it was the most uneventful thing ever. Barely felt the needle, didn't feel any liquid going into my arm, and the whole thing lasted less than three seconds. I don't even have any arm soreness. I'm actually super suspicious that they placeboed me. Anyone else have had the Moderna and is willing to reassure me?

Oh and celebrating being microchipped with some Boxergrail Rye.

But I also had the exact same reaction as you did when I got my first Moderna shot a couple of weeks ago, did they really give me the shot or just pretend to...

At my age it's reassuring to know that someone is keeping tabs on me ... I get lost easily and forget where I've been. I've actually been calling government agencies several times a day to let them know what I'm up to and to share my feelings and thoughts about all kinds of things. They had actually told me to stop doing that and blocked my number, so joke's on them now.

Finally went into CVS this morning and got my first Moderna stab.

Got mine Friday AM (Moderna) same didnt feel a thing. give it 18 hours. you'll feel it in the am

I was a little tired the next day with a very mild headache. I did not even take an Advil, just took it easy, woke up back to normal the following morning.

Nothing for me, just a little sore where I got the shot. Just about gone now after a couple drams

Sore arm day 1-3. Headache day 3 and 4,,,but maybe from lack of OH...
I got the Maderma.

Great day, took the wife and truck out for lunch, had Lobster rolls, beer and bourbon. Trying something different tonight. Floral upfront, a bunch of heat on the backend.

Gents.... Look at the current spread of infections and your current situation. Medline is simple to use though the language can be daunting. Ask those you trust for advice and use that information to make a good decision. It’s all about risks vs benefits but the Moderna vaccine uses genetic material to code for the spike protein or “corona” of the virus responsible for Covid-19. Consider it the attachment mechanism used to grab your own cells and what the new, more virulent mutations look like. Those spike proteins are different and it takes some flowery language to dance around the fact that Moderna will not recognize the longer spike proteins so expect language using “booster shot” or “third dose.” At this stage of the game, most virologists have a respect for but not a fear of the initial strain.

I don’t mean to give advice other than to encourage each of you to get online and look at trusted sources of information (Entrez Pubmed, Medline) and not just blindly accept what your local pharmacy has in stock. Again.... all risk vs benefit.

I was actually OK until day three, that is when I felt the “tingle” and thought that the helicopter above was somehow following me everywhere I went. It was like “Good Fellas” when Ray Liotta was driving around in a panic looking upwards like the government was following him. Other than that I just got a little swollen under my arm because my glands swelled up.
