A few years ago, Porsche Colorado Springs agreed to sell me a new '23 Porsche 911 GT3 at MSRP, if I ordered the vehicle. I worked with the salesperson to build the configuration, confirmed the order, and put down a $5,000 deposit. About a month later, the GM called and said, "...we need to charge an additional dealer markup because the market had changed." (They wanted another $25,000!) I called my salesperson, who was (of course) no longer with the dealership. The dealership refused to honor its original price.

I told them to go to hell, asked for my deposit back, and I walked away from the deal. (Funny thing is, I called my RAM dealer and ordered my TRX!) I called Porsche corporate, but they couldn't get involved due to "franchise laws."

Dealerships like Porsche Colorado Springs (and the RAM franchise you are working with) don't care about the customer or honoring their word. If you feel like you are being taken advantage of, walk away.

Meanwhile, after having bought various Porsches from a dealer in CA, when it was time to order another 911 Turbo S I called Colorado Springs.

They said it was the first one they had sold at under MSRP. Not bad for a first-time customer, I thought. The salesman is still there, and needless to say, other purchases followed. Couldn't talk them out of an ADM on a Dakar, though, so that purchase never happened.

Just curious where you ordered yours from? I’m in the Bay and looking at swapping my current for a new one.
