Finally came to our facility yesterday, I must say...the interior is very impressive, actual body structure looks super well built. Bed and retractable tonneau is actually spacious. They parked in front of my truck so I briefly compared sizing...cybertruck is tiny compared to our TRX's lol. I think its a bit bigger than a Maverick. Still wouldn't trade my dinosaur for it, even though I get a nice hefty discount.

I see Rivians everyday and they’re small too, closer to the size of a maverick. That’s not a truck… and appears the cyber truck is a similar size.

It might be taboo, but the specs on the Cybertruck are pretty impressive. 11'000 towing capacity, 0-60 in 2.5, yadda, yadda, yadda. I have had my deposit in for four years plus and never thought it would be built but now it seems like it will come to fruition. Anyone else have a deposit in on one?

I was also on the waitlist. Here are the reasons why i dropped it last week when i got all the details

• Range was 500+ miles. Which makes and EV worth it to me. When I found out the range was 318 miles with the tires you see advertised (all seasons to come out in 2024 gets you to 340 at the additional cost.
• With charging taking 10-30 minutes (i have a MY) when low on charge, this means alot more charging to get the range i wanted. Alot of delay.
• Winter decreases range by 20% easy making it even less.
• Cost 16K to get an "extended battery" that takes up 1/3 of the truck bed and only gets you to 400 miles.
• Cost went up 35K a the same time the range dropped and to get to just 400 miles (100 less than advertised) is an additional 16K cost.
• Tesla made many deals for many other EVs to use their charging system. This will cause even more issues for delayed charging and waiting.

Overall, these are the reasons i bowed out. Glad i have a TRX cause EVs just arent ready for prime time outside of daily commuting.

Nobody likes change, give the truck or whatever the hell it is a chance...innovation is cool...who knows..I remember when I had a hard mount cell phone in some pos Volvo I had as that world was quickly changing..oh this is great, why would I ever need a portable phone. .40c/min free after 9pm..right... If you get a chance drive a Lightning, thing is fucking nuts. Like it or not, and I'm not yet a fan... that tech is your future and its coming quick boys..
