Cybertruck

I saw my first cyber truck rolling down the road the other day. A lot smaller than expected, like Tacoma sized. It looks unfinished… like they ran out of money and just released it.

Really? There’s one roaming around near me now, and my first impression was that it is huge - and not in a good way. It’s boxy and awkward looking.

I live in norcal and probably see one a day. They're pretty big. There'd a photo online of a TRX sitting next to a CT for reference.

It is horrendous. Theyre here now too. Lemming transport if you ask me.

They are gigantic. I see a lot in DFW already. I can't even make myself get close to one because I don't want the owner thinking that I like it.

I've seen 2, maybe 3. Saw a black one twice, probably wrapped or spray painted

I see them all of the time in so cal, they are fungly (new word). They are fun and f'n ugly. The finger prints on the doors are no joke. Worse than other electric appliances. It is hard to look away though. Kinda like large marge on the dance floor after 12 jaeger shots with boots and fur 👀 .

I see one a day in nor cal. I might be the only person who actually thinks theyre not bad looking. Like a mars rover, somethint from the future. And yes, a child drew it. But at least it's something new and different.

So when the CYBERTRUCK was first shown...

I printed a very small scale, printable/foldable Cybertruck done as a promo. Scaled and used hinges to correctly angle the 'vehicle'... mounting it to a Radio Flyer wagon. Even spent a day figuring out wheel covers.

Then in a hypomania crash like Van Gogh on Absinthe... for some reason last year decided to toss my unfinished 'Stroller' into the trash. Both my ears thankfully remain.

Kept the plans (I simply use graph paper to make full size templates).

Perhaps some TESLA fanboy will pay huge $ for a recreation. Just have to find that 20mg Adderall to get restarted! 🔥

The cyber concept at the time of announcement had so much swagger and a ballsy attempt to overthrow the conventional thought on how a truck should be built so it’s pretty cool you tried to make a miniature.

It is funny now how people quickly forget the many legit ICE guys who put in a reservation years ago just to pull it back for a multitude of reasons when the pricing, concerns of production quality, aligned politics of Musk or the aligned liberal politics of E-vehicles came to the forefront. A book or documentary will probably happen on the production of this vehicle and its demise.
