Unfortunately that is not going to do what you think its going to do. It takes less than a second from about 25 feet to clone it and you need to remove it from the pouch to start your vehicle.

I went to 3 different shops the other day about a security system for mine, I wanted to do IGLA but I do not want to travel 6 plus hrs, all 3 installers told me not to put any alarm system in my truck since it already has a factory alarm, 2 of the 3 sell Compustar and I really wanted it but I was talked out about, one place suggested the great old steering wheel club and the other said that they do something to the brake to kill the power, I think I'm going to get me a club and do the brake kill because you do not have to arm it unless it is needed, I do not live in an area that there are thefts on these, or Hellcats except
the dealerships...

They have no idea what they are talking about, you might as well tell them that. There really isn’t a factory alarm and if you can’t get IGLA installed close then there are a couple options. Full compustar with the added Mopar security push to start kit or possibly have an installer fly in to you and have the IGLA installed. There would be travel added though.

If you’re going with nothing other that the Club, second best alternative to the that would be if you purchased the yellow one or paint your current one yellow. No one would take that on purpose other than someone who is color blind.

It takes 20 seconds to cut a club off and even if they didn’t take the vehicle for some other reason or you get it back, you would need a new steering wheel

Now I'm all confused, I want the best Compustar I can get with the lcd fob , and where do I get the Moparprotection?

The Pro T13 is the best remote kit. Remote kits are just an add on to the main Compustar systems. The added mopar pts security kit is also an add on that is programmed in at install (or later by the installer) It turns the push to start button off when you arm it and turns it back on when you press unlock on your compustar remote or app. It is also timed and usually set to 4 minutes. If you don’t press the start button then it will turn back off after 4 minutes and the unlock on the compustar will need to be pressed again to reactivate it.

I have both the IGLA and Compustar T13....Installed in Houston. There were a few quirks. and Air’d outSRT explained the systems to me. It took me about ~3-4 weeks to figure out the timing. but since then no issues at all.

With TTL ~$2600

I also have "The Club" to just slow someone down for a second if they get past my electric gate and garage so I can reload some hollow points...However, based on feedback from several more experienced folks here...I am doing some research on shotguns to buy for personal defense.

There are dozens of options. I like to keep a cheap emperor on next to the bed only because its cheap and they will take it for the investigation. Mossberg 590 shockwave is a great little shotgun based non nfa firearm too

Bb said it would be 700 if I buy it through them , or I can pay 1k at a high end stereo shop that been around for 20 plus years and I know their work because they put a complete stereo system in my 96 Cobra

This is all good information... Thanks...

I am going in for T13 and igla on Tuesday, so now I'm "armed" with a little more information, to ensure the installer does his job!

However, both guys I spoke to sound like they really know their stuff, AND they have already done several TRXs, so I'm looking forward to getting it done... in fact, can't wait!

Besides, if they screw up the install, I'll be posting it here, and they'll have to deal with that!

$700 for what, the full compustar with pro t13? If so then they are not making a dime. A cmx-hc, blade al, cdp1, alarm it, pro t13 remote kit ect is almost close to that price.

Just got the T13 installed on my TRX end of last week. The installer said that the latest connect update prevents cloning and that I can’t use the app to remote start? I have the system on another TRX, a demon, and an audi and they all work fine. anyone know how to get the remote start feature to work on the app on a 23 TRX? Thanks

I'd call Drone Mobile support and ask them. The tech I have always spoke to was both a Compustar and Drone tech so he knew it all.

Remote start won’t work on what app? Also, it has absolutely nothing to do with cloning and can 100% guarantee he is incorrect. Your vehicle can be in china and you in the states with your fob and I can still walk by you and clone it. You also can’t get a T13 installed. Its just a remote. What is the actual compustar you got installed?

Maybe he's saying for some reason it won't allow him to remote start on the Drone Mobile app.
