Complete installation instructions for adaptive cruise control ACC for our TRX

Good evening. New to TRX ownership. Currently have a 21 that has been tuned by Hp tuners. Will I still be able to navigate through this process you have written? I’m just concerned about having to do a factory reset and messing with tuning? I would think it would only be able to reset to what is there tune and all. Thank you for the write up looking forward to hopefully adding ACC to the truck.
Maybe @Jimmy07 can chime in. I think if you only change the two appropriate settings you shouldn’t have to mess with anything else at all, but not positive.

So I did this, step-by-step, and still ended up with a Christmas tree of dash lights, my heated/ventilated seats don’t work, and I have an trailer tow light, engine light, four-wheel-drive light, ABS light, and my truck is stuck in four-wheel-drive permanently. Is there a way to just reset everything?

i got a bunch of errors when I first did mine and then did a ecu reboot (I believe that is what is was - close to 4 years ago) and that cleared all the errors and the adaptive cruise control worked perfectly

When we did my buddies we saw someone here recommended to wait 20 minutes before starting the truck. No error codes and it works perfect.

I mean several of us have done this without issues. You may want to restore your backup and start from scratch again. Its something you missed.

How do you do the ECU reboot? I think that’s what I need to do

I literally only did the two things.

I turned off reg CC and then turned on the ACC. But I think I had the truck running and that was the problem. Thinking about leaving the battery unplugged overnight. 🤔

it’s in AlfaOBD
Did the ECU reset. And it didn’t help.

I have this 4wd code, trailer brake code, and abs codes that keep coming back over and over.

C2206 was the first code that I got and it comes right back even if i reset it.

Restore it to you original back up if you saved it and start over. If not I believe you have to go back the dealership and have them upload your OEM factory settings

IGLA has to be in service mode, meaning authorize and then cruise control 5 times and you get 5 flashes of signals. Truck has to be in ”run” but not on.

So I put it in service mode, and then I reset the cruise control settings back to Factory, but no matter what I still keep getting the same codes over and over again even after i clear them.

Are you familiar with this situation? If so, could I pay you to walk me through it?

I did my buddy @alexac9 but we had no issues. We had his IGLA in service mode, ignition in run but motor off, made the change and turned the truck off for 20 minutes before turning it on. We had no issues and it works perfect.

I’m guessing you’ll have to take a trip to the dealer to reset your ECU unfortunately. I tagged @Jimmy07 who is the man for AlphaOBD stuff but he hasn’t chimed in yet.

Yea I messed something up. Maybe I can pay this guy Jimmy to remote into my laptop and fix it? I’m at a loss right now. My local Dealer is horrible. They will legit tell me I need a new ECM, BCM, ABS computer, and anything else they can add, and then charge me thousands.

I no longer have an android phone or else I’d look at the setting for the codes you’re throwing and compare to see if you could change stuff back.

Have you unplugged the battery for 30 minutes yet? I’d try that then reset the ECU and leave the truck off for another 30 before trying anything else.

Ok so a friend of mine that has a Hemi shop got me all sorted and back to normal

And now with the IGLA in service mode. The cruise control is still not taking.

Just says cruise control unavailable. Service required.

If i click ACC, it says ACC unavailable. Service required.

So now it looks like the adaptive cruise control is finally going to work.

But i have this front collision warning light on for some weird reason
