Buying a used 23' 0r 24'

Funny how this thread has gone all old and retired over a color. I have decided I'm going to get a 2023 Lunar Edition. So let's proceed to make fun of that color.:D
Not gonna knock a Lunar. It’s an awesome color. Great decision, and one you won’t regret.
Especially when you’re passing Grandpa in the Retirement Red Bighorn

Always been a Dodge/Ram truck guy (when they were actually called Dodge Ram 1500) and have always had one up until the last 7 when I sacrificed my truck in order for my wife to get what she wanted. With that said I have always wanted a TRX and now I can finally get one. I live pretty much in the middle of the Midwest so that means I have to drive 6 hours plus to even look at then ones I've found on carfax.

I have been looking at all Level 2, 2023's with less than 15,000 miles and a few 2024's with less than 10,000 miles. I dont want white or black, had to many vehicles lately with those colors. The prices on them have been anywhere from $82,000 to $98,000. These are all 1 owner.

I like the 2024 is Delmonico Red with 7.4k miles, asking $98,000 and a 2023 Flame Red with 1.7k miles, asking $96,000. Thats a lot of cash. I plan on keeping whatever one I get for 4-5 years.

Should I be looking at vehicles with say, 20k to 30k miles for the 2023's. What would you all recommend?

Again, bad part is I can't really just travel to see them all in person. Most I've looked at are from CDRJ dealers, if that matters?

From a financial standpoint I could pay outright for any I've found but I just have a hard time parting that much cash. Also thought about payinga little more than half down and financing the rest for 3-4 years. I have hit brain overload.

Could really use some advice from people who have a TRX which is why I'm here.

Thanks!!
I have a twenty three fifteen hundred that I purchased with seventeen thousand miles on it. I love it. I've had it for a few months now. Just expect 6-11 miles per gallon. I have found out how to average just under twelve miles per gallon. Obtaining ninety one octane gas can be difficult. I have used pure gas with no Ethanol at ninety octane. Do not waste your money on octane, boosters. They can do damage and are a gimmick. I hope you enjoy and obtain what you love for those 4-5 years.

I know gas mpg is gonna suck but I wouldn't buy this truck if affording the gas was going to be an issue. Seems like as soon as I find one that has what I want, it sells a day later.

My main issue is finding a IGLA installer near me. Have to drive 3 hours and my luck it would get stolen in either city that is a 3 hour drive.

How would it get stolen if you drove 3 hours, get IGLA installed, then drove home? That's an easy day trip and you could keep your eyes on your truck the entire time.

I meant it would get stolen in the parking lot before they get to it. St. Louis and Memphis aren't the best places. Thats what I meant...lol

I bought a lunar edition a few months ago. Exterior color is great and the surf blue stitching is hands down the best interior spec.

You can have an installer come to you in some cases...

what tint percent did you go with on the sides and windshield?

Well I've been a lot busy lately as we bought a new house and been moving so my search for a TRX was put on hold. Got the greenlight from the boss and I will be picking this up on Saturday. It's only about a 3 hour drive which I'm good with. Can't wait to get it!!! It doesn't have the red accent package but that wasn't at the top of my list. It has everything else I wanted along with power running boards and a tonneau cover.

2023 Lvl 2 with 17,000 miles.
