Brand new and Broken 23 TRX

It seems 23’ are plagued with issues. I feel so bad for everyone have a bad experience before even making it over 500miles it’s a scary amount of problems occurring on them.
Considering I have no ETA on a part for a brand new truck and no guarantee that the dealer is right on the diagnosis, Im starting to rationalize that I might have to lemon law it and get something else. I can’t be months without a vehicle and begging the dealer to extend my rental.

Hopefully I’m being over concerned but this is a week without a truck with no end in sight.

I would lemon It and go get another one. Screw waiting for the part. Good luck, man!

The "new one" would likely have an I6TT engine. If that is what you want.
Ordering banks reopened a few days ago with 500 slots open, but those are gone now.

While I understand the frustration of new owners, I see a couple of issues on a couple of 23 truck on the forum.
Nationwide, based on the number of 23's on the streets right now very few issues. Not a plague.

If it’s not fixed in 30 days this will be my first and last Ram.
Understood. Its likely a bad computer module and an easy fix.
But maybe not timely.

And with all computers for all vehicles coming from the same sources with quality control issues and shortages, it really doesn't matter what brand you buy. It's all about if you are the unlucky one and wind up with the bad one. Its the world we live in right now.

So just to update on MY situation...Dan Cummins staff and @Miles Goff were able to get things taken care of very quickly. They think they have it figured/fixed, but we had already begun working on another one. Thankful to be headed down the road in a beautiful black '23. Hate to abandon my Granite club folks, but nice to see a great group like Dan Cummins group to do business with. Shout out to whoever backed out on this one lol.

That is amazing. Sounds like they definitely took care of you.

I didn’t say new one I said another one. There are trucks out there available. At MSRP, but at least no markups. That’s what I would do. It sounds like KDCane has got a really sour taste in his mouth dealing with this sht, so he might drop the whole Trx idea altogether and go get him a hummer EV or something. Hope he doesn’t.

That’s what I’ve been seeing. I placed an order on a 23 and ive been seeing nothing but issues. Maybe I should just keep my 22

I just want a solution. Nobody is getting back to me with anything. Called Ram and I have a case manager and I’m supposed to get a call and I haven’t. Waiting for the dealership GM (Mark Dodge) to call me back. So far they looked for the part and didn’t find any. Said they had a car waiting on the same thing. Bottom line is I need a timeframe. Is this a 1 week wait or a 2 month wait. It’s been 7 days so far.

Sounds like the Cluster. With everything going on and the gas gauge going to 0, I 'm going with a faulty cluster. Those new digital clusters have a computer inside them as well. Too much going on from too many different modules. Bad ground or bad Cluster.

I hear you. Anyone would hate being in your shoes… hey, is this part something that can be replaced with aftermarket? I don’t know if you mentioned what this part is that is faulty? You might have to try calling some dealers around yourself seeing if you can find it too. I’m sure you aren’t excited about the idea of spending time calling around doing the dealer’s job, but you know how they say, if you want to get something done, do it yourself. There is a shit ton of dealers out there, someone might have it… I hope

yeah what is the part they are trying to get do you have a number ?
