Another TRX Price Increase...

Ordered my 2022 and was specifically told my price is locked in and guaranteed. The sales manager I was dealing with told me he KNOWS the price will increase by the time I get my TRX, but I am locked in and nothing can change that. This is probably the only reason I am going to keep my 2022 order and not re-order a 2023 when orders open.

The price on the company's website, as I understand it, has nothing to do with the price at which the dealer will offer to buy

The price listed online represents "MSRP" Manufacturer suggested retail price. In years past it was always the percent under that number or percent under invoice that everyone strived for. Now some people think buying a kia at MSRP is a good deal.
The reason the price on Ram's website matters to people on this forum at least, is because many dealers are doing X amount of dollars under sticker, or X% under sticker. As the prices increase you pay more as the amount off stays the same.

But the price increase on the '23 is virtually nothing. take into account the few little upgrades and it is nothing. so maybe we've peaked for the time being anyway.

As far as any incentives when my '23 arrives I have little hope.

Looks like RAM increased the price of the TRX again. Base price as of today is now $80,490 + $1,895 destination charge.

Also according to recent WS that was released, at least one color went up $50 and the $295 Trailer Tow Group went to $395

So if you have a VON are you price protected? or do you have to get a VIN ?

Looking at my build in the Ram Build and Price vs my POC, the full MSRP is up from $100,670 to $102,670 exactly $2,000.

Once you eSign your POC and pay the deposit at Granger your order is price protected. Should be the same at all legitimate dealers but some like Chapman now claim they don't price protect.

One more reason to buy from Granger.

I'm sure there'll be more price increases but with things as they are today probably not nearly as bad as last year.

I know that this negatively effects those who have yet to order and also those without price protection.. but the good side is, if they keep doing this it will be how the Nissan GTR is. Every year they just kept upping the price and now someone with a 15 year old gtr can get darn near sticker price since the new ones have almost doubled in price if they already haven’t.
I realize that this exact scenario is not likely to happen but a guy can dream !!
I had one of those first ‘09’s, Super Silver, $57,500. Sold it 3 yrs later for more than I paid for it. Still miss that car but it attracted the wrong attention. Wheels stripped from it once and an attempted theft another time. And it was always garaged at home. Just got to where I couldn’t leave it anywhere.

Just be aware that when I put my order in for my ‘22 last June that I was still quoted ‘21 pricing and by the time I got my truck 10 months later it increased $12k MSRP. Never know and good thing is I was price protected. So morale of the story is find a dealer to price protect and get the order in early because short history says there will be many more increases over the next few months.

For those who ordered a 2023 recently what was your base price? Was it the one from the web (80490) or something else? Quid of the TRX level 2 package?

I ordered right after the order banks opened for 2023. The MSRP base price was $79,335 and the destination was $1,795.

I just ordered today and the base price was 81055. More than the one displayed on the website. And level 2 was at 10995.

It's called inflation boys... And the path we are on is is scary.... Hopefully things can be slowed down in a couple months....🇺🇲 And our trucks will remain stable for new buyers..

It the mean time... lock in those prices, and get it in writing!!👍

I ordered August 19th and the base price was 79,335 and level 2 was $10,295.

So if all the other options went up accordingly, you're looking at a 2-3k increase. level 2 itself went up $700 .

TRX Forum Favs 👍
