Another broken Dampener bolt on rear axel!

When I noticed the grease in the axel 1300 ( I had a 1100 mile trip home from the dealership)
Now I'm sitting at 1900
I would assume there will be a recall on these front CV Shafts. Obviously the boots are bad, or, god forbid, the suspension travel and geometry is too much/not correct which is making the boot the weak link because of stretching. I see it all the time when we put lift/leveling kits in at my shop.

Well if I had used the suspension travel , or did any actual maneuvers where that boot might have been stretched I would kinda understand. But this boot most likely got torn in a restaurant parking lot 😪. The truck hasn't seen grass/dirt yet. I don't think anyone else has torn a boot so hopefully this is a isolated situation.

So, where there two probems with your truck? It sounds/looks like one of the bolts for the bracket that the center rear axel shock mounts to was broken off, and also one of your CV joint boots split or came off?

Is the programming you need for the AmpLink steps? Are these available from RAM? It's too bad they aren't available as a factory installed option. I've got them on my 2019 F250 and love them.

I ordered the Oem Mopar steps, I don't know if the amp will work with the Uconnect.

That looks like one of three possibilities.
1) Sabotage during the manufacturing process.
2) Someone broke the bolt off during assembly and just didn’t give a shit enough to fix the issue.
3) Either the bolt holes were not drilled out deep enough or the bolts being used are too long and are bottoming out and breaking. The other lose bolt makes me think this could be the cause.

Having vehicles leave the plant is verification they are pushing them out the door without going through QC checks. Shame on FCA.

Srsly. Wtf.

i’m picturing myself doing the first jump and all the wheels fall off. Has anyone jumped theirs yet?
what if we use our trucks as they are intended or at least advertised ( off road racing, jumping) and something breaks. I'm scared they will say I did something wrong and it's not covered under warranty. That's really my only fear.
I had a local dealer try to "red flag" me when one of my brake calipers malfunctioned on my 2019 charger hellcat. They didn't want to fix the caliper because it happened on a race track.. I told where else am I gonna use 700hp safely? I ended up going to another dealer that did the repairs with no issues. The replaced both calipers and rotors as something was causing the passenger side to bind and stick causing premature brake pad wear. If I would have stuck with the first dealer I would have lost my warranty.

And I pointed that out, how can you safely jump this truck in one my videos. Going to record another about this one and list all these issues in 1 place so the dealers know what to look out for

That is a complete garbage reason to deny warranty repairs. I woulda lost it. Certain cars will say stuff like “no use of slicks allowed” because the loads they put on the car are outside design parameters but denying warranty because you took it to the track is ridiculous.

that said I tell service as little as possible. It’s none of their business if I took the car to the track or jumped it. And if they make an issue out of it they can talk to my attorney.

You should have seen what I did. I had my laptop out and literally pulled up "hellcat commercials on YouTube" when the videos were played I was screaming youu see that's exactly what I was doing when I noticed the brakes were not functioning properly 🤣🤣.. I had the lead technician the service writer and the "boss" all in the same cubicle watching videos on YouTube .
They were all telling me that I needed to buy a Viper to go road racing not a hellcat !! What a joke .
The service writer said the second they pull up the G meter data that my warranty would be red flagged ..
That's when i told them they are a joke and I left . I made a appointment with another dealer and they told me let's wait 30 days and bring the car in to make sure I wasn't already red flagged.

Lol. I would love to see them use the g meter to void a warranty. I’ve gotten cars to 1.3-1.4 lateral g’s on the street. I would’ve done the same. Laughed in their faces and left

this was the brake pad with 2100 miles on the car and 1 session at sebring . its passenger side front. the others all had 80% life left. crazy wedge shape looked like a doorstop. I paid for the pads they warrantied the calipers and rotors. I didn't expect them to pay for pads that's kinda like asking for new tires.

Stuck Piston or Pin on one side of the caliper.

Well today I dropped off the truck to get the new axel installed, since I have been seeing all the dampener issues I told them to check the bolt and sure enough is broken/missing! The tech is going to send pictures to my phone as soon as I get them I'll post it. This is crazy everyone needs to check that bolt!!

Also dealer quoted me $850 to just install and flash the unconnect. I thought it was high but I rather have them do it and be able to get it fixed of something happens to the steps than a local shop.

So there was a missing bolt and a loose bolt. It's the base of the dampener, so a bit different from the other guys on here but still very serious.
looks like only one bolt was tightened the others all loose and the pressure on the one bolt holding it secured ripped the head off.
