What a moron. I literally just bought my power mopar steps from my local dealer with Mopars 15% off coupon. Came out to $1,394 plus tax.
Here's the part # for them 82215287AG
Is that $1394 for parts only and you installed them? My dealer wants $2200 for Mopar steps installed.

With 15% off you should be able to get it little cheaper. I just got a quote for around 2k installed. About 3 hours labor.

Yes that was the 15% off price for the steps only. Plus tax. Didn't ask about install from them. Only took a couple hours to do in my garage.

I debated the same and ended up with Mopar ones. Had them installed by dealer when I picked up the truck. No regrets so far. Really like the Uconnect integration.

The integration with UConnect is the exact reason I will get the Mopar.

I went with amp xl and have been happy with them so far.

I know it’s been discussed but it’s hidden somewhere.

AMP no integration to the screen.
Mopar = integration.

AMP faster than mopar. Dual motors. Etc.

Anything else I’m missing?

What I really care about is which one will fit better? Anyone has ether one?

I’m also thinking about just an off road one. I don’t exactly like the truck with hidden side step. But I love the luxury idea of auto step.

How did you guys decide on this?
Buy the amp and never look back. I have a set and they are only single motor and love the shit out of them. Would have bought the two moto units but o got them before they offered that option

Just got back from the dealer after getting mopar power running boards installed. Everything went well and they honored the 15% off coupon. Was $1900 all said and done. Very pleased with everything and the infotainment integration is very nice. Thank you again for all the info and opinions!

Can you leave the mopar steps down using uconnect while truck is in drive?

Mine don’t deploy in drive. And if you deploy them in park and then shift to drive they come up.

I have the mopars on my TRX and I installed the Amps on my wifes Jeep.
The installation of the Mopars is 100x easier (1 hour install vs 6 hour), the integration of the UCONNECT system is awesome (you can easily deploy at car washes etc).
I also think the Mopar are more streamlined and clean looking. The Amps deploy a LITTLE faster but are also much louder deploying IMO.

I dont regret the Mopars at all.

Well. That’s good to know. When I wash mine I usually just stand on them after I shut the door and they stay down
They will stay down if you stand on them. No different. you just cant drive down the road with them deployed.
