Yea I wasn’t able to find any caliper designs on the icooh website that match this. So not sure.
Was able to see that they claim they use forged Al356 which explains some of their cost reduction. That’s a very interesting choice of alloy since it’s nearly always used for casting rather than forging. Perhaps a hybrid “lightly forged” technique is used but I would doubt they are truly forged (especially because I can see what looks like casting knit lines) For comparison and to back up my previous post, Rotora and other vendors utilize forged Al7075 in their performance calipers (typically). The strength there is 2x Al356.
