Covid slows down supply chains. It's not personal. It's literally everywhere around us with every business.
Some options, ie bead lock wheels or cf inserts are on back order frequently, so yes.. some trucks wait. I ordered bead lock mopar wheels for my last Ram 1500 Sport and my Rubicon and both times I had to wait almost two months for the wheels due to shortages. They weren't an offered option back then either other than Mopar... it wasn't a assembly line choice like with the TRX... so yeah, I expect delays.
A buddy just had his black trx pushed to d1 when the other orders from the same dealership... one LE and one white full load don't even have vins yet. Bead lock and cf on those two? Yes and yes. My buddy's d1? Black wheels, no cf.
I just called and asked if the regional rep could modify my order to remove beadlocks and cf. Seems to be a pattern here... and I'm more than happy to save some money at the same time in not having those options.
