1000 reply! Woohoo
El Paso to Des Moines might be one of the least eventful drive you could do in America….I would ship it.Nice. I’m still deciding if I should drive or ship. I’d be commuting from TEXAS so 19 hrs for me. To make a trip out of it or safe all the beaches and ship instead. Just don’t know if I ship how much delay I’d have to wait or if it would get damaged during shipping.
I wish I knew.
Lol right?! I’d really wanna get the most out of my trade and not have to dip into that equity for shipping but the more I think of that 1200 mile drive I’m like ehhhhh. Mayyybe 2k would save a lot of headache.El Paso to Des Moines might be one of the least eventful drive you could do in America….I would ship it.
How are some of your clients saying they have been given their “estimated build date”? And it was accurate?I wish I knew.
This has been a learning process for me for sure. I have a great relationship with my Ram rep who has done it for a a number of years. The information given to him and then relayed to me simply wasn't accurate.
I want to do my best to remain transparent and relay information but obviously I get egg on my face when it turns out to be untrue.
I think it’s an estimated ship date. And that’s available when you go D1.How are some of your clients saying they have been given their “estimated build date”? And it was accurate?
Is it a nightmare to get that info and granger is only giving that info to certain people?
Hoping that when they reopen the factory they will focus on the sub 190 vins…
Build numbers according to triple b show in Nov and Dec level 2’s were being built at a rate 2.5 times more than level 1’s. And with all the trimmings. So there doesn’t seem to have been a parts shortage.
The estimated build date is established when you get a vin.I think it’s an estimated ship date. And that’s available when you go D1.
Oh, where do find the estimated build date? I've had a VIN for almost two weeks. The estimated build date is established when you get a vin.
That’s already been confirmed and verified. The estimated build date is a “week”; so your truck is scheduled to start being built sometime in that “week”… and so far, for everyone who has been given their estimated build date, it has been accurate.
Now… the truck getting stuck in QC or a shipping nightmare… that’s soemthing different.
I shipped using @Jaron@StopwatchUSA.Did you drive back or ship it?

I’d rather get away lol… if I can get the missus to be able to take the time off to watch the kids…I shipped using @Jaron@StopwatchUSA.
Hotel+gas+flight add up very quickly and I'd rather spend the time with my family.
That’s a beautiful truckView attachment 30741Happy customer from CA. Thanks Zach, Amanda, Javan and everyone else at Granger!

I wondered about the accuracy of the estimated build date? Do you know for a fact it is accurate? I haven’t seen anyone reporting on that. Not wanting to argue, I guess I missed the discussion about that. It would be nice to have something accurate about this entire processThe estimated build date is established when you get a vin.
