DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

Nice. I’m still deciding if I should drive or ship. I’d be commuting from TEXAS so 19 hrs for me. To make a trip out of it or safe all the beaches and ship instead. Just don’t know if I ship how much delay I’d have to wait or if it would get damaged during shipping.
El Paso to Des Moines might be one of the least eventful drive you could do in America….I would ship it.

I wish I knew.

This has been a learning process for me for sure. I have a great relationship with my Ram rep who has done it for a a number of years. The information given to him and then relayed to me simply wasn't accurate.

I want to do my best to remain transparent and relay information but obviously I get egg on my face when it turns out to be untrue.

Lol right?! I’d really wanna get the most out of my trade and not have to dip into that equity for shipping but the more I think of that 1200 mile drive I’m like ehhhhh. Mayyybe 2k would save a lot of headache.

How are some of your clients saying they have been given their “estimated build date”? And it was accurate?

Is it a nightmare to get that info and granger is only giving that info to certain people?

Hoping that when they reopen the factory they will focus on the sub 190 vins…

Build numbers according to triple b show in Nov and Dec level 2’s were being built at a rate 2.5 times more than level 1’s. And with all the trimmings. So there doesn’t seem to have been a parts shortage.

I think it’s an estimated ship date. And that’s available when you go D1.

The estimated build date is established when you get a vin.
That’s already been confirmed and verified. The estimated build date is a “week”; so your truck is scheduled to start being built sometime in that “week”… and so far, for everyone who has been given their estimated build date, it has been accurate.

Now… the truck getting stuck in QC or a shipping nightmare… that’s soemthing different.

Oh, where do find the estimated build date? I've had a VIN for almost two weeks.

You have to ask your dealer to get it. Granger said they can’t get it and then they can buy don’t give it out.

But there have been a few granger clients saying they have it.

So maybe they only do it for specific clients?

I shipped using @Jaron@StopwatchUSA.
Hotel+gas+flight add up very quickly and I'd rather spend the time with my family.
I’d rather get away lol… if I can get the missus to be able to take the time off to watch the kids…
I’d rather have the freedom… but I’m a house husband now…

I wondered about the accuracy of the estimated build date? Do you know for a fact it is accurate? I haven’t seen anyone reporting on that. Not wanting to argue, I guess I missed the discussion about that. It would be nice to have something accurate about this entire process

Between the Facebook trx page and this forum, I’d say 10… and Every single one Was accurate.
Now getting stuck in accessories and shipping issues…that I think happens to anyone.
