We really don't know. The most they can fit on a single transport is 2. We have approximately 100 vehicles in total currently in-transit. We have seen on average 3-4 Transports per week with TRXs on them in most cases.

@Zach@Granger are folks actually dealing with issues upon receiving their vehicle with missing features they ordered and price locked in? I’ve seen some talk of folks that ordered the level2 package and are missing features from it primarily the HK Sound.

It is my understanding that those who have the “missing “ features are those who paid the lower price for level 2 not the 9,995 or whatever it is price. At least that was the trend with anyone on here who didn’t have those in lvl2

The problem there is we didn't have any other option. When ordering, dealers didn't have the option of ordering those separately because the system showed it being in LVL 2. I didn't care about HK but I wanted Tech package. My POC shows HK and Tech but it seems that doesn't actually mean we will get it.

Yes, they get dropped off at times even if we're not there. We have a night drop.

No the website isn't accurate. We generally dont list sold vehicles on our website once they populate in our system. Those we need to take off the website still, we just haven't yet.

Yes, just don't harm the messenger. The good, we got 23 orders into D1 over the weekend. The bad, It looks like mostly Sep[tember-December orders. We didn't see much movement from May-August.

Current count is 35 in-transit, 34 in production or gatelined for production, and just about 50 delivered over the last 90 days.

From what I can tell, if you have a level 1 or level 0 truck, you are going to get a quick schedule. Anything other than that I've given up trying to figure out the "why" a certain level 2 schedules and another doesn't.

I really don't think that has anything to do with it. The level 2s as an overall rule have been produced very slowly. I am not sure if its just the glut of orders and the system doesn't pull them in a timely manner, but I can tell you that the price protection is a very difficult thing for us to apply for, so I really don't believe that is the issue. They invoice us the dealer at the higher price.

If you can say - Is Ram ultimately honoring price protection and just making it difficult? Is there a point in time where is better for everyone to cancel May, June, July, and August orders and reorder? I just can't see Ram letting all that $ just get away. Likewise, I can't see how it would be fair to make you absorb it on all those orders. It is an unfortunate situation all around.

We've done our best to apply for the price protection but have had mixed results with the trucks that we've sold so far. We are honoring the pricing we quoted regardless, we're just out the money if we can't recoup it from Ram.

Agreed. Thank you Zach for your contributions to the forum.

The thing with @dealerinsider that was different than most was he did not require a deposit. So if the truck came in and you weren't happy you could just walk without losing anything.
