We are locking in pricing at time of order. So if you ordered 2 weeks ago, you are fine. If you didn't get the order finalized before the price increase, then it will be at the new MSRP.
We are not doing that for the price increase, sorry.Zach - Is Granger able to do anything for the folks that had signed an order and put a deposit down on Friday (noon) but saw the jump because our orders didn't get finalized that day? Understand that you can't adjust MSRP but maybe a bed liner or power step discount? I have to admit the increase took a little shine off the new truck purchase. Still excited for my first new vehicle in over a decade and thankful for the work Amanda has put in. I am sure it was a couple rough days. I appreciate your consideration on this! Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks!
Appreciate his willingness to put himself out there, but the 25% has no real meaning to those waiting unless he stops taking orders. Using a generic 25% while continuing to take 100s of orders, provides no real guidance.
About 30% of our Non Level 1 builds are October or later orders that are in D1 or in-transit.Actually seems like a lot of recent non Level 1 orders.
I see my truck is KZP status. What does that all entail?Yes, Ram has had production issues which I detailed previously. We have a large number of pre-October builds that should have been selected and haven't. That has been for a combination of reasons. Commodity availability, slower production pace than anticipated, as well as unexpected plant down time.
Here's an updated list of vehicles that are in-transit to us or are being built currently. As you can see there are some orders from October/November that are being produced and shipped. For the majority of those, they are level 1, or no equipment group trucks that they have the capacity to build now.

The man just said he'll "price protect". Why are you trying to stir up shit? Some dealers might not but post that in the appropriate threads. https://www.ram-trx.com/threads/9000-off-msrp-december-special-granger-motors.5124/post-138613By the time many of you receive your trucks unfortunately, there will be more price increases that you’ll be stuck with
You drive a hard bargain. I'll settle for a tank of gas.We are not doing that for the price increase, sorry.
(I’m citing numbers from memory here. Take the idea and look at the graph and get the picture)
Eighty and I looked at the production graph the other day. From 100000 to 245xxx? (Or is it higher?)
We noticed that ram has been building vins in 15k groups…
So take each 15k and line them up like keys on a piano. 100-115, 120-135, 140-160 etc etc.
Then inside of that there are thirds.
Inside each group, the vin group is +\- 30% of the others. And that group is about 2/3 produced.
And then the next grouping will only be 1/3 produced.
So you see this wave through the whole line of orders up to about 190xxx
Then the last group around 190xxx it’s around 30-50% and past that it’s down to 30%
So it looks like ram has been taking these groups and sub secting them in thirds.
So after the Christmas break either the groups that are at 2/3’s will have their final 3rds built or they will stagnate and the pre 190xxx groups that are at 1/3 will have the 2/3 built while adding some 190+ to bring them up to 1/3.
And then after that, the reverse of the above will be built.
Then you have to take into account shipping groupings, dealers/regional reps putting priorities on certain peoples vins… and then… if there are shortages like paint… or parts should they occur.
I’ve wondered about shipping groupings. I wonder if all those trucks granger has in KZT will affect the KZP trucks from advancing to the next stage of shipping. Those are pretty large groups of both that he is showing.(I’m citing numbers from memory here. Take the idea and look at the graph and get the picture)

It's hit and miss, but I check daily. That’s a whole lot of trucks built and shipped or awaiting some Minsk steps to be shipped. Not a whole lot in d1. Granger looks they’re killin it in 2021…
@Zach@Granger how often does ram select additional trucks for d1? Is it daily, weekly, monthly or as one is completed another is selected?
