Both the Amsoil filter and Signature Series oil have been reworked in the last couple months, incidentally. The only constant is change in this game. The filter world got turned upside down with First Brands going under and the majority of what I looked at here just 4 years ago are either unavailable or made by completely different companies now. Soon will be doing a re-hash of some of the old favorites. Basically just starting over and finding what’s still good, and what’s been enshitified.
Any changes with the PPE filter or Redline 5w50? I've been having good luck with those and planned to order more if they haven't been potentially eshitified also.

Nope, I had some concerns but they thankfully proved unfounded. Red Line hasn’t really been affected by the recent war-related supply issues either, since they aren’t using Group III or GTL bases. So it should be business as usual.

The PPE filters I bought a few months ago also appear to be unchanged. They are made by PGI, who actually just acquired the IP for Fram. A big player only getting bigger, hopefully no reason for them to ruin what they already produce.

what's the link for the PPE filter? I've got about 2-3 more Frams i bought when they were on super sale but need to find the next filter in the near future

Curious, do they ever offer better deals than the killer one they have ongoing for subscribing?? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Would you recommend the 0w40 for this time of year, getting me through winter and then changing to 5w50 in the spring thru summer in my area ( Philly) ?
