DEAL 2024 TRXs - No Sold Order Allocations

That lunar does look nice and I like the blue accents on the interior! Well done, Ram.

So, if much limited production numbers for '24 means my '23 will be going back up in a value a bit. :D :D

Looks like 2024 model year allocations are going to be limited based on this delay and what Zach said which will turn the year into a MSRP or MSRP+ sh*tshow.

Good luck to all who don't already have a TRX and want one. :D

I thought this post was for updates on the ordering opening up for the TRX. I must have read the title wrong. This should be labeled Captain Obvious and his wife Karen should talk about stupid $#@! because they have nothing to talk about.

I am seriously looking at ordering 2024 TRX along with the Tyrant package with life. But if we're talking limited production and premium pricing, then i'll just put my name on the Lunar edition from my local dealer at MSRP. Of course, that is assuming they don't try and jack up the price. If that's the case, I might just have to sit one what I got. :(

What dealer is doing MSRP on the Lunar? Asking for a friend 😂

More of our customer's 2023 TRX orders showing up!
We hope that the 2024 orders open soon🤞

Although mine was a 2022 it took me about 6 1/2 months to get to D1 and during that time I got pretty frustrated because there wasn't any news about when it might move to D1. However once I went to D1 I had a build sheet and window sticker in about 3 weeks, so things moved pretty quickly once I got to D1. My dealer had the truck on his lot in another 3 weeks after the WS.

Of course as we know there is no consistency to how this schedule goes but if it is at all like mine, the timeline gets better once you hit D1. Good luck.
Hey, thanks for the information. It helped to calm me and to stay focused. Today I just received an email from Granger, it says that I hit D1 status today. So, like you said, hopefully it will get better from here. Thanks.

FWIW - I'm hearing more and more rumblings that allocation for 2024 is going to be in-play and limited to sales history of the dealership. Again, if that is the case we would be charging MSRP for any TRX for 2024.

Nothing official yet, but that is the rumor I'm hearing increasingly more.

So in other words, those last few of us getting our 2023's should feel lucky! If the rumors prove false, I'll be putting in an order for a discounted '24, but if not, I guess I'll keep the '23!

Can you give us any indication of what Granger's allocation would typically be on the TRX? AKA, how many did you get this year that were not "sold" orders?

Correct.

I wouldn't be able to give you an educated guess on allocation for the TRX. Because over the last 2 years, there have been so many retail orders, that no stock orders were allocated to dealerships. So we don't have any type of a sample size to pull from.

Interesting. Good to know! Also explains why my uneducated local dealer told me they didnt have any allocation when I asked them about the TRX. I assume they didn't even realize they could just order one for me. I can't wait to drive mine over there to say hi when I bring it home. :)

Sadly if this is the case I’ll have to pass. Since it would realistically be driven less than 2000 miles a year, mid $80k’s is justifiable. An additional $10k makes it so I look at other options.

I hope that orders are not allocation based but I suspect they will be. Wrangler 392 is the next vehicle up on my list and at thankfully they are open order. If not I keep my 23 4Runner TRD Pro and pick up a mid priced fun car as a second vehicle. Fingers crossed I’m wrong.
