Will we be able to order one ? Thinking about ordering the last year I can .

I would assume 2nd quarter of next year you should. I would like to as well but these prices just keep going up. I may keep mine and just tune it.

Thanks , Yes I will keep my 21 too.

If you're thinking a '24 will have extra value since it's the last year , it won't. unless they make a substantial change, which is unlikely is a dying low production rig.

Look back at all the collector cars and you'll see it's all about what they are not when they were built.

No interest in the value , I just like the TRX.

Look at a 1970 Challenger , the 6 pack and the hemi went away in 1971 but a '70 has the same value. a '67 GTO isn't worth anymore than a '66 even though it was a 2 year body style. the '66 is worth more if it's a tri-power. it goes on and on, last year means nothing unless it's improved in some way. don't expect the 2024 to be much different if any.

All I'm say is don't hold out just because you think the last year means anything from a collector or value standpoint. of course a '24 will be worth a little more just because it's a year newer. but it'll probably cost a lot more too.

And yes I do think there will be a collector market and I think it will be sooner than most think. I wouldn't want to bet on the value but worst case I expect them to hold their value pretty well once production ends. other than the Raptor R there has been nothing like the TRX produced and there never will be again. there will be a market for that.

I just heard Ram could drop the 5.7 & 6.2 in 2024... Jeep sneakingly is doing the same removing it from the Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer lineup

No word that 24 is the last year.

If you believe what you read 2023 might be the last year. but it sounds like 2024 will be for sure.

I don't know, I don't think anyone does but '24 is probably the end.

Offroad trucks are very profitable. I didn't say the TRX was ending in 24, I only said the engine...

Yes, and for most of us the TRX ends when a 6 banger goes in it.

My guess is when the SRT engine production gets down to just the number they would sell in the TRX it's game over. it's simply doesn't make sense financially so emissions and everything else won't matter.

If I didn't have a '23 ordered I'd be ordering today. I don't know if this guy is right but it wouldn't be worth the risk to wait for me.

I tried to build my wife a grand Cherokee on the jeep site and the 5.7 wasn’t available as an option. Looks like we’ll be going a different direction.

If they kill the Hellcat in the TRX, they better have that 1000hp I6TT ready to drop in or those sales will fall off a cliff.

Or a 1 year Redeye, but again with CAFE regs going the opposite way of supercharged V8s, I'm thinking the ball is about over.

After the dodge bullshit, I might just order a 23 and look for a used Challenger Hellcat to build off of.

Like the manual transmission hellcat, it just disappeared.

I did similar thinking it was a nice alternative to the Durango (wife likes Jeeps) but I don't want the I6. At least not in a daily driver.
