2022 Raptor Confirmed to get V8 from GT500

I agree with that! I think.(and that can be scary) The TRX Is going to take away some arrogance, And confidence from Ford! But we got to give them credit they got the ball rolling!!! And I currently own, And have owned several.
Same here with 5 raptors owned I hope they do bring the gt500 but I’m gonna definitely get a gen 3 raptor super cab with a eco boost but I’m hoping it has the power boost tech as well just as work truck 😂 80 miles round trip for me for work is rough with the trx. But shit I would be lying if I said I did not enjoy it .

Thanks man. Appreciate it. Working on growing and getting better. Got a couple youtubers on the forums. Knightmare has a channel too (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgL4h7_Eq1Mwk0UUAwN73pA). Gotta get our boy monetized. He is gonna beat me to the TRX content. I'm a little jelly that he is gonna beat me too it but happy for him too lol. I promise I will not destroy my TRX when I get it.

Little insider info, working on buying back my first truck I had in high school. 1999 ram 1500. Be cool to compare my first truck and my newest truck when the TRX gets here. See how far ram has come. Thanks again for the positive feedback.

Great job on the youtube channel! The red C8 is amazing! They are such a head turner. I've only seen a few on the road in my area.

I bet 1000 the gt500 motors will only be available in a raptor R variant or a Shelby raptor and they will be north of 130-140k. There asking 120-130k for a Shelby gen 2 raptor now and it only comes with bumpers front and back , a tune, and Shelby badging for a up charge of 50-60k . But hey I could be wrong haha
Yeah they'll only be in Raptor R and the base engine Raptor will go against the base engine TRX...
But they can't over price the raptor when everyone can just jump to one of TRX's now

hahaha, notice that RAM responded? Do they know something?

" POP THE HOOD "

I absolutely love this, and also really hope it doesn't backfire!
Me too. For all the craziness in this world I think it’s cool that we have two major auto manufacturers going back and forth on who can build the most over the top pick up truck. What I still don’t understand is why GM doesn’t get in the game. I’m not a big gm fan but they’ve got good power trains you’d think they’d do something better than the trail boss in the meantime until the hummer comes out.

I think it has to do with engineering costs vs time left to sell trucks like this along with emissions credits. FCA pays thousands per vehicle in emissions fees: https://carbuzz.com/news/77-million-is-the-price-to-pay-for-dodge-challenger-hellcat

GM would need at least 1 year to engineer a truck with probably a beefed up z06 engine and off road capability plus another year to align parts and manufacturing and production. Is it worth 1-2 years of being on the market for them? They also don't have any emissions credits left so need to move more electric and less gas. Ram committed to this a few years ago with the Rebel concept but took them 3 years to hit market and they clearly spent that time engineering a monster. I guess they are trying to be ahead of Ford and Ram to the electric super truck market with Hummer with hopes to dominate that before the other two focus on it. I'd love to see them do it but I am guessing its not worth it to them. Thank god Ram followed through so Ford couldn't get away with another generation of.....you know. V6 magic to put it nicely. Functionally great. Sounds like the parking lot at the movies the night tokyo drift premiered.

Didn’t realize that on the fuel economy stuff. Leave it to the government to interfere with capitalism!

Its a million times worse lol. Take a guess how Tesla exists?

$428 million in a quarter. They don't even make that much profit selling cars in a year. Basically the system requires these manufacturers to pay a massive fine or buy the credits from companies that have surplus and since Tesla only makes EV's.......all they have is credits. Pay the fine to the govt or pay a little less then the fine amount to Tesla for their credits.

Just a disclaimer, not making a political statement here. I am all for EVs as they are becoming more practical but will also always have a V8 something as well. Made this statement with the same article in another video game forum and got eaten alive lol.
