I just can't believe they kept that disaster of an engine! Mine was in the shop almost every 6 to 8 months with engine problems. I can't imagine them trying to add more power to that platform either. The eco boost is a joke. That was my 1st and last Ford purchase as what could be more important to a new car than having a reliable engine? RAM smashed it for sure and I absolutely love my new truck!View attachment 3805View attachment 3806View attachment 3806View attachment 3808
This is why I still have my 2014. A literal dinosaur at this point lol.

They might not have gotten their V8, but perspective Raptors owners will be able to play the trombone 😂 The funniest part is they did this to themselves!View attachment 3857
What if there is a rust issue for the exhaust? Will Ford have a TSB for the Rusty Trombone?:LOL:

I was wondering why Ram went with a 3.55 but I guess they had to try to keep it out of single digit mpg's haha
I believe it had to do with MPG also. A set of 4.10s would be wicked and I bet it won’t be long before there is an aftermarket set of 4.10s for the TRX. Buckle up.

I’m disappointed the TRX did not come with 3” pipes from the start.

But guys, please don't forget....

"The new third-generation Raptor is the first to offer an active exhaust system, with four separate exhaust modes that can be changed via the truck's Drive Mode selector" which mean TRX owners select from eight drive modes while our V6 touting counterparts will select from a menu trying to disguise their lack of engine displacement. It's like that college girl from the club with the great cans and when you got home and the clothes came off..... WRONG. Push up bras and V6s...... We don't do 'em.

But dude.....you get a trombone. lol. And you got girls in college. no fair. I spent all 4 years in the computer lab. #ImALoser

They got rid of the fake speaker sounds at least so I guess they made some progress. No replacement for displacement tho. Hopefully the V8 Raptor R is real. Means maybe we get a TRX redeye. Gotta love competition.
