First TRX with a rear swaybar!!! Handles amazing!!!

They are running a sale on the pre-orders for the 7883 kit so I put in an order today. Looking forward to installing this once they are available again.

@cortc What were the final dimensions on the spacers? I'll order some 1/4" aluminum and mill up some before the sway bar arrives.

I just installed the 7709 bar with the 7962 end links today. My bar didn't come with the collars, and the included instructions (for a 2019 Ram 1500 2WD) made no mention of them - so I didn't bother with making up the 1/4" spacers (was prepared to plasma-cut them from sheet steel). I didn't really see much need for them, as the bends in the bar itself pretty much limit any lateral movement of the bar to an inch or less.

Just like Knightmare, I noticed a reduction in the height difference between left and right sides, and the on-road handling is much improved.

The 60mm bolts I bought from Amazon worked just fine (M10x1.5x60mm), though I did swap out the included thick 7/16" washers on either side of the upper end links with some stock 7/16" flat washers (about 1/2 the thickness), just to guarantee full thread engagement into the captured nuts. I might look for some 65mm bolts, just to play it safe.

The videos shows the install process of putting a rear sway bar on your TRX. The install if you watch the video should be quick for you, maybe 30 minutes, with majority of your time pressing the bushings into the endlinks.

The TRX handles amazing now, best way to describe it is like driving my old Challenger Hellcat. You will stay level in corners and it feels more responsive. I haven't off road with it but will do so soon and in the video I show you how much flex the suspension still has. And also this sway bar has eliminated my TRX's lean. In the video I was on E and was pretty level. I just filled up and still level at a full tank of gas

2 things to consider when you get the rear sway bar from Hellwig #7883:

You will need to source 2 bolts to make the install possible. Luckily for you the bolt you need is on your TRX already, you just need a longer one. All the info is in the video.

The upper mount for the sway bar end links are being used for a bracket for a wiring harness going to the rear TRX lights, sensors, and tow plugs. I put the bracket back when I did my install. When you get the longer bolt that I discuss above, you will put the bracket back in its factory position, then do washer, endlink, washer bolt. Picture of what I am talking about is below.

Awesome video and thank you for posting. You're hilarious.

@Johnny@JustBoltOns - you rock Johnny, you guys are faster than Amazon! Lol
Got the sway bar today and did the instal when I got home from work. It was super easy and 100% worth the extra $100 to get it now instead of waiting for the kit 6-8 weeks.
My truck and all of its badassery somehow is even more badass. The handling is amazing and not smooshy any more. Corners are actually fun now and it doesn’t just want to push through like previously. It stays planted when you mash the pedal instead of doing the baja squat. I gained a half a second 0-60.
@KnightMare #bestmod #trendsetter Thanks for this!

Glad to hear that! That is impressive! We really appreciate it.

Does anyone sell the machined spacers? I can get them done but just curious

Planning to install mine Thursday. What setting did you use? Thanks

I took the middle road. I will switch out between all three settings to see which I like best. Honestly though, the tighter the better (no comment). This thing launches like none other now and corners pretty good for huge beast.
Enjoy the changes, they are fun.

Glad you liked it! Hands down I don't think there will be another mod that dramatically changes the feel of the TRX.

Did a drive and review of the sway bar. You won't be disappointed with the feel of your truck after this mod

Ok, so now we need to source a quick disconnect...can you make that happen??? lol

Umm, put a pin with a clip on it where the bolts are on one link?
Or at least one pin, at the bottom, and hang the link up and out of the way.

Ok, installed the spacers and the collars today. Perfect clearance and everything is properly aligned. Put 5mm longer bolts on the sway bar bushing mounts.
