I drilled and taped and used the supplied allen bolts. I have a lift so it is easy to work on. If you are laying on the ground, it might be easier to drill and use nuts, but you will need longer allen bolts if using the spacers. I used 1/2" x 2 flat steel for the spacer, with a notch for the 1/2 clamp. 1/2" x 1-3/4 would be better. Be careful that the half clamp does not contact the spacer when the swaybar is rotated. If you use 2" wide spacers you will need to notch them for the clamp to clear. This is an additional interference point when not using the spacer as well. Next time I might use UHMW poly or nylon for the spacer, much easier to work with. Be sure to only use allen bolts, there is not enough clearance for the head using hex head bolts.
