What did you do to your TRX today?

Added a Yakima rail system and an basket. Timely addition as a buddy and I are going to a guys weekend camping trip next weekend so we should have plenty of space.

The Yakima fit fine with the Pace Edwards tonneau cover. Took some time and had to go to the place I bought the Yakima for some questions (and picked up some locks). I'm happy and very functional.

Next up - new bumper, winch and onboard air compressor (probably an ARB). But that will be awhile as I wait for the after market folks to develop some options.

(rear isn't scratched just a reflection heh)

I raced an AMG C63 S
1. Having more than the rear wheels with power helps with the launch 62.3% (approx) 🤔 ;)
2. Racing a merc that does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds would usually be frowned upon
3. I smoked his ass. Simply put
The best part, it all happened in a tunnel under the Long Beach airport. Twice. He bailed after that.

Another thing today. I came out of the CA DMV while attempting to register my out-of-state TRX (failed) and seen two gents taking pics of my truck. I auto-started it to surprise them. If you turn the stupid horn beeping noise off it is easier to startle folks, they see the lights flash but they do not expect the exhaust note. They both told me they were just admiring the truck and did not touch it 🤔
At which point I thought that either my cats were gone or they were telling the truth. I went with the latter and told them both to jump in and lets go for a ride. We did a 2 mile hate run around Compton while they recorded it. It was kind of spectacular to be honest. I dropped them back off at the DMV and they both had the look on their face like what the f^ck just happened. I Just drove away smiling. 😎

Let my 29 year old son drive the Trx today for the first time..... his mother asked how was it? He said ” it is a Monster... I felt like Satan driving through the gates of Hell on his Chariot” He couldn’t stop smiling and laughing out loud through the whole drive.... Haha.

This evening I found some 20 miles from my house

Not sure if they make them for the Chrysler vehicles, but essentially they show the computer lower than actual signal inputs forcing a greater performance output to reach "desired" parameter.

Take this for example..... it's a piggy back unit that plugs in between 3 or so sensors and the end result is a 82hp/120ft lbs gain and the computer will never read levels higher than stock values.

Makes complete sense to me thank you.

Made it’s parking spot cooler (new outdoor rug). Lol.
I spray it off every other day with a pressure washer, got tired of wet sand under it afterwards.
By the way. I love how the trailer matches the truck :)

Ha ha they do match. What does the trailer weigh empty and loaded? What hitch are you pulling with? I’m using the Husky WD HITCH. Seems to be pretty good. My trailer empty weighs 6200lbs. No issues. But I haven’t loaded it yet.

It been parked in GA about 8 months for a long term project that will be done in a year or so.
