What did you do to your TRX today?

It seems dry though, nothing on floor mats, carpets not wet, headliner isn't wet, I don't feel any drafts while driving. Any shot in the dark on what else it could be?

The mat under the carpet will hold quite a bit of water before it becomes noticeable.
Could you be brininging in snow/water in on your shoes? That moisture has to go someplace.

Got the truck back from the PPF shop. Went with full body stealth, tinted tail lights, black PPF on the roof, and everything ceramic coated. Also decided to go clean. No decals or emblems.
Looks GREAT! WDE!!

Big Service Day(s) for the Truck: Oil+Filter, Transmission, Engine Coolant (swapped out nasty reservoir housing too), Transfer Case, Differentials, and Brake Fluids all changed. Air and Cabin Air Filters changed (earlier this weekend, I don't know why we need 10 screws for the air filter housing but so be it).

Knock on wood it was given a clean bill of health, will send the oil in for a sample next time I change it (3,xxx miles I usually do). Huge Relief knowing it's pretty solid after the lack of service records. I have an aftermarket rear bumper, wanting to go back to OEM, quoted $9xx for all parts/brackets needed. Not terrible to be honest. Will most likely order that.

Anyways nice to keep knocking stuff off my list: fluids, tint, tires, beauty rings, catch can, dash cam, mud flaps. Next/Last things are Baja Designs onx6 light bar for bumper, IGLA, and maybe speakers - this HK system isn't really blowing me away coming from a crappy Toyota tundra stock system.

Make IGLA a priority. You don't want to be "that guy" coming on here, like so many others, talking about how you never got around to it and your truck has been stolen.

I will say I have been dragging my feet with it. It's been on the back burner to be honest. Just thinking like "it won't ever happen to me". But thanks I'll schedule it for next week (once I know when my light bar will get here too and do it all at once)

86,900 miles, last friday changed t/c, rear end, front diff and engine oil, ( trans oil and filter were changed 1 mo ago ) so far no issues still enjoying it

I realize that we all have different expectations when it comes to stereo systems. I've owned two 5th Gen Rams with the HK system and they both have been pretty damn good. I had a 2008 TRD Tundra and it was horrible compared to my 2021 Laramie that replaced it. Have you compared the stereo in your truck to another HK equipped TRX?

I have not, no. Not even another HK Ram itself. I just feel once you get over volume 20 it starts to get crackly I guess, I've tried messing with the equalizer levels and such and still can't get it to stop doing it. Tried with direct apple car play wire, and wireless adaptor too, as well as just regular Bluetooth connection. I very well could be my ears too haha. I am not an audiophile by any means but what I hear just doesn't sit right with me. I very well could have just gotten so use to the tundra's audio, had that truck for 5 years so like the headers and exhaust drone on it just seem normal where as my passengers said it was awful.

Yeah, it definitely shouldn't be crackly at high volume levels. I am not an audiophile either, but I've owned some high end component sound systems and like to crank 80's heavy metal. I don't get any crackling at all.

try turning "surround sound" off or on. I cant remember whether we're on or off but 1 sounded like shit and the other sounded good

Tried with no help. I messed with all the settings haha, it could just be me. But small issue and easy thing to change/fix

The Borla atak is officially a cat back. Bought Corsa end/over axel pipes from the “mufflers” (Atak polyphonic pipes) to the tips. Pretty easy install and fit well with some minor tweaks. The quality of the stainless steel Corsa/borla pipes is so much better than stock (see pic below). Thanks @IB TRX for selling these end pipes and tips, and for shipping. Came out well, will start her up tomorrow as I just finished up and don’t want to wake the wife, kids and neighborhood.

was considering to do that with my borla as well but was worried with the drone suppression screens being removed with the corsa setup. can you tell if there's a sound difference?

I covered my screens with the stock set up (using clamps) so not sure if adding these Corsa end pipes will make a sound difference. Will let you know once I fire it up today.

However with stock pipes, screens clear and screen covered, you get a slight increase in sound and the slight stock drone (only hear sometimes with windows down, is up just a doll hair). Clamps worked well for two years, but this is a permanent solution.

Fired her up today and definitely added some volume and also made it sound cleaner. Liking the Corsa tips too. Nice little project that cleaned up the rear/under carriage of the truck.

You all convinced me, Monday the 5th, dropping the Truck off for IGLA and a few other things (speakers, pano roof tint, Baja Designs light bar).
(edit also had issue with driver side only windows fogging up, I wiped them all down with windex and run the AC with the defrosters every time now and seems like the issue is over and gone.)

Finally got around to installing the OEM carbon upper glove box and some of the Jogon dry carbon pieces.

The Jogon matches, but I think I might buy the ignition piece and the other small piece on the dash. I can live with the other pieces being Jogon.

Tomorrow I’ll be installing the OEM LED 3rd brake light with rearview camera.

Currently on the hunt for some Level 2 rear seats. The ones I’m finding on EBay look beat to crap though. Saw some RHO seats that might work.

Might not need to trade in for a ‘27 model after all LOL!

What a long day, IGLA installed, Tint on Windows, Windshield, and Panoroof, Baja Designs ON6X 20 inch bar installed, along with speaker upgrades and removal of my amp research power running boards. Took 2 full days (left the shop at 6:15 pm today and dropped it off 6:30 am on Monday) which sucks because I am impatient as hell and it feels like the trucks been at a shop longer than I've driven it lol. But qualify work is worth the wait all said and done.

On top of that, my master bathroom was/is being tiled today and tomorrow, so went into the office for work.

I thought I'd really dislike IGLA because of the PIN code and just another thing to do but these key fobs are a life saver. Again long day but going to sleep knowing my truck will be there tomorrow morning feels good.

I went to On the Spot Audio & Tint in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. Vince is fantastic 10/10 would recommend and use again.
