What did you do to your TRX today?

Installed F & R ADD bumpers with new fogs/rear spots and 40" light bar that fit way better than I expected. I love the fit and build of the ADD. The six mounting bolts (four using speed clips ) worry me a little for front pulls as the stock recovery hooks are so much stronger but it will be fine for mild pulls. I still have to orient a couple of the sensors better as I am getting some premature warnings but that is my fault. I also chose a bumper that retained the step because I am at a point in my life where I think that is the greatest invention ever. LOL One thing that triggered some OCD in me on the rear bumper was the angled trailer plug mount. I wish the cutout was straight. Maybe it's just me.

Otherwise, it was labor intensive with the harnesses but I'm happy with how everything turned out. Cheers!

omg the trailer plug. My OCD is telling me to hit I-95N to fix that 😂

And the Suburu's
Not really:

2023 Subaru WRX: The top speed is 155 miles per hour
2023 Subaru BRZ: The top speed is 140 miles per hour
2023 Subaru Ascent: The top speed is over 120 miles per hour.
2022 Subaru Forester: The top speed is projected to be 129 miles per hour.

Heck lots of shit boxes can out run our trucks, unless they have been fixed. (As examples)

2023 Corolla has an estimated top speed of 119 miles per hour
2023 Kia Sorento: has a top speed of 140 mph
2023 Hyundai Elantra: has a top speed of between 130 and 135 miles per hour
2023 Volkswagon Tiguan: has a top speed of 142 mph

And if you just want to compare trucks, even the 2024 Ford F-150 tops out at 133

And the list goes on and on...You may very well get to 118 a lot quicker than any of these but before long, they will be passing you.

bumpers look awesome. the angled plug is an interesting design choice, curious as to why, but not a big deal.

I wanna see you hit the speed limiter in any of those except the BRZ and WRX. My guess is you'll be in a ditch somewhere before you find a tailwind strong enough to see those figures 😂

No doubt they will be shaken, rattling and rolling at those speeds but those are the posted numbers. As they say, read em and weep. A VW once passed me as I was bumping the speed limiter in my 1st TRX. Well that won't happen again in my 2nd one since it's been fixed. :)

that must've been traumatizing lol. I once had a gutted, canary yellow Cavalier with a Folgers can-sized turbo pass me at like 125mph in my supercharged vette. Mofo was sitting an actual milk crate. I still have nitemares

I wasn't even talking about hitting the limiter. I was taking about those commies trying to pass me in a round a bout. They found out quick that a TRX can out accelerate sliding sideways on the exit 🖕🤣

You guys and your top speed fascination. I get that flying airplanes.

I saw a guy get out of a procharged LS Silverado single cab one time, he was sitting on a 5 gallon home depot bucket!!!

Let my 29 year old son drive the Trx today for the first time..... his mother asked how was it? He said ” it is a Monster... I felt like Satan driving through the gates of Hell on his Chariot” He couldn’t stop smiling and laughing out loud through the whole drive.... Haha.
Now I feel over privileged… I’m 17 turning 18 in a few weeks and my dad lets me drive the trx whenever I want. Tbh he only bought it because I wanted it and he thought the interior was really sick and the exterior as well he really doesn’t give a shit about power and stuff cuz he’s almost pushing 50

The thirst for power doesnt end at 50 lol. Ill never want to own anything truly slow and neither has my father. One day Ill be doubling the voltage on my electric wheelchair (like ive done to my kids electric ride-ons) and hoping for the best 🤣

P.S. you are a very lucky young man. I hope he shows you how to drive it 🥳

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We’re so thankful for all of you who support the channel that we’ve decided to drop this Banger a few days early! Enjoy this fun Cyber vs. TRX run with a few pounds of turkey!
