Well, this was kinda interesting. I had to work today (on a Sunday ) and on my way home I jumped on the 710 south which I had about 3/4 mile stretch of me just romping the go pedal and going thru the flappy paddles. I hit 3rd gear in Baja mode and got my usual “pop” from the exhaust and looked in the river view mirror and seen a white charger. I knew it was a CHP so I just let off a bit and gently slid her into manual mode. I am currently running an Ohio expired permit on my back window with no plate on the front or back (longer story). The CHP pulled up next to me as we slowed to about 50mph and had me roll down my window. I had this stupid cheesy grin on my face. He has a cheesier grin and pointed forward like he wanted to race . At which point I put it back into flappy paddle mode and hit third gear with a ROAR. He smiled even more and we stepped on it. This truck is stupid fun, I got to race a CHP and get away with it. He gave me a thumbs up and flashed the bubble gum machine (to f#ck with me probably) and he kept going while I got off the next exit. I got home and still had this nervous twitch going on. My wife asked “OK, now what happened...!”

Can't figure out which look I like better. I ordered a build without boards to put power ones on, but then I purchased a truck with boards and have been contemplating what to do. Appreciate the pics but doesn't make the decision easier!

Now we just need to get you a hoop on that board

I'm getting power running boards Wednesday. I didn't realize truck was so tall. I'll take a pic and add it here.

Swapped in black lug nuts, window tint, replaced OEM white fog lights with ambers.

Just dropped mine off at the Dealer for them to install the black skid plate. The skid plate was $256 with some kind of discount and they quoted $120 for labor. Wait until they see what is entailed to replace the plate! LOL. I am expecting a phone call pretty soon with a new quote. I tried telling the service advisor that the whole front end needs to come off. He said "ok" and come back today at 5pm to pick it up. I said see you tomorrow at 5pm! LOL

What did I do? I checked the TRX tracker to see if it has moved from J status (nope) and went to the garage and looks at all the beautiful mods, just waiting. . . .

So the new quote went to $400 (labor only) which is still better than another dealer that quoted $900 (labor only). This stupid plate/bumper thing just got even more expensive. Two cans of plasti-dip would have been under $20 bucks! LOL. I still think the truck should have came with the black plate.

Confirmed my TRX's location through the UConnect phone app! It's getting a ceramic massage, while I'm out of town for work. Also making sure they're not out joy riding!

Hopefully you put it in valet mode when you did this

Dropped below the 10 MPG threshold.

5/9: Took delivery, 150 mile ride home mostly @ 55 MPH. MPG: 13.5

5/14: Overall MPG 9.8, 280 miles on odometer.

I foresee it continuing to drop...

Our trucks must be hanging out together then. Ordered by the dealer in early February, estimated ship date was 5/21 - Still don't have a build sheet.
