It doesn't matter where you live. Secure your Stuff. Too many years of Obozo the Clown and FJB weak soy boy DAs and Judges letting criminal out. I am just itching for the National Shot to Kill criminal law to pass and a law to put Low Bail or No Bail crooks into the homes of the DA's and Judges that Set the bond until it is time for them to return. This will fix a lot of problems.

Dude just had his truck stolen and unless you got a time machine, the IGLA comments are worthless. I'm guessing you also tell girls they deserved it based on what they were wearing. I hope someone kicks you all when you are down.
No sympathy from me. He played the naive “it’s not going to happen to me” game and found out the hard way it doesn’t matter where you live…it’s just a matter of time before you’re a victim. With a proven solution like IGLA, there’s no excuse for a 3+ year old forum member to not have his truck secured. The thieves are scumbags, sure, but the (ex) TRX owner could’ve easily prevented the theft.

Now we all pay for his mistake with even higher insurance rates.

But it’s okay…we can all go back to our regularly scheduled programming of n00bs posting “Will 37s fit without a lift?”

Look I don't want to beat you when you're down but what is said above is correct. It blows my mind that people who buy $100,000 Plus truck, complaine about spending $1,200 to keep others from driving it! Live and learn. Please learn🇺🇲

car thefts are very rare here in Loudoun County, Virginia. (the police confirmed that too). I guess all you guys locking down your trucks forced the thieves into new territory...
Yes, it's our fault for protecting our purchase. Sorry your truck got stolen but this is a fucking shitty take bro. I hope you are not in a position of any kind of power with that kind of naivety.

Ohhh man that sucks. So happy these don’t happen out in UAE.

Don't have my truck any more. Survived a whole three years without an issue. Yes. Knowingly took a risk. It's a fucking piece of metal. Still pop in here to listen to adults who spent 90-125K for a vehicle post:

Oh you idiot. You shoulda had LGBQT IGLA.
Borla is expensive. Spent 125 at Midas for an exhaust.
My insurance rates are higher because your truck got stolen.
I went to Jimmy's roadside tint shop and now my radio doesn't work.
In my state he'd have a buckshot in his back while running away from my rottie.

To the OP. Sorry for your loss. Buy something else or same thing. Live your life and do what makes you happy. It's too fucking short.

So sorry Bro, I hope it’s recovered

The irony of this Masshole telling us to go out and live our lives. 😂

You are missing the entire point of this forum. The comments on this post serve a number of purposes:

For the OP, hopefully the next TRX gets security before mods. (aka wake up call)

OP is missing the point with the "low crime area" comment. TRX thieves are Air Tagging these trucks in parking lots and then stopping by the guys house at 2am to relieve him of his truck. These are not the usual joy riders, these are professional car thieves toting AK-47s (see also Memphis Raines and his crew)

It provides info for current owners on how important security really is.

took a few days off from this post to calm down and search for another vehicle. thanks to a few on here who helped find some new and used TRXs, but I think I'm done with super trucks. It was too big to fit in my garage, so it had to stay parked outside. I was prepared to get IGLA, Compustar Drone, IEDs, etc but when one of the guys helping me search for another TRX said he has personally stopped someone who rolled up to his house with a flat bed, it occurred to me that it'll be impossible to have peace of mind with another TRX. so, now I have to figure out what other vehicle can meet my needs. I may get something unsuspecting, (a sleeper instead of a super truck) and put a bunch of suspension for off-road trail driving (not a rock crawler), light towing, and has some decent power.

I asked ChatGPT, and here's what it recommended to start with and then mod: Lexus GX550 Overtrail (Luxury Toyota Land Cruiser), Toyota Land Cruiser (100/200 Series or New 2024 Model), 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor (5.0L V8 or 3.5L EcoBoost), Toyota Tundra Platinum or Limited (Twin-Turbo Hybrid V6), Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2 (6.2L V8). Also, I saw one of these on the road yesterday which caught my attention: 2025 GMC Yukon AT4 Ultimate.

Anyone seen any of these turn out cool with some aftermarket mods?

The GX550 is actually a Lexus version of the rest of the world’s Toyota Prado. The LX600/LX700h is a luxurious version of the Land Cruiser (LC300) that they decided to bring to the US and not the Toyota variant. Both are great vehicles, but what kind of mods and what are you looking to do with them? The TRX is a completely different type of vehicle and I’m looking at the LX700h Overtrail to replace my Wrangler 392 while keeping the TRX for towing, hunting and desert runs.

The other trucks you mentioned are just regular trucks so if you have no need for what the TRX offers as a streetable desert beast, they’ll serve you well and maybe even better if you plan to tow heavier loads. Out of those trucks options, I’d consider a F150 and slap on the Ford supercharger to give me the feel of a Temu TRX as far as speed goes. Those Predator engines are fairly mod friendly.

Unfortunately majority of those vehicles on your list are also on the high theft rate list too. It's sad but until tge government makes the theft penalties more realistic we're screwed no matter what we own so you might as well get something that makes you happy. As for a flatbed taking the truck, if you have a good tracking system in place you will still get it back so I wouldn't stress to hard.
