Was Tim Kuniskis drunk?

First and foremost Tim is their top salesman. Simple as.

eh just marketing to keep attention on RHO.
Are you all telling me that the CEO of a multi-national, billion dollar company would tell half-truths just to move, what some might call, an inferior product? 🤯

BS'ing to move a surplus of RHO I bet. Once the TRX drops the RHO will move even less. Wouldn't be shocked if they quit making it all together unless they start bundling it with a pride flag and a Tim Walz bumper sticker.

There's not exactly a surplus of RHO's, at least not right now. Unless you count all the trucks sitting at the plant that haven't been released (there are close to 1900 of them at the moment). There's some kind of issue with them that Ram isn't admitting.

There's probably still trying to fix the clunk. :)

All marketing to move product that could be forecasted as “undersold” due to a better product “killing” it. I can see a buy a TRX and get a RHO at half price coming soon 😂🤣

His comments don’t bother me one bit as I love my TRX and it is perfect for a daily driver. If you can’t afford the gas get a RHO or Prius - say safe all 👍🦖

Totally disagree on the value theory. 100+K is 100+K. I don't care if you put a turbine engine in the TRX, when you price people out of a market value becomes irrelevant. I really like the TRX as I don't think there is another truck out there that looks and drives like it within its class but at 100K+, probably never own one. Too rich for my blood!

100% accurate.

I'm in the industry. Tim knows that dealers are sitting on RHO inventory, and the last thing they need are customers not visiting showrooms as they wait for the arrival of the TRX. This was a statement purely to ensure that the RHO sales continue at the same pace (it's no different than a Chevrolet executive praising the C7 shortly after the C8 is announced).

I agree with some of what you said, but I disagree about the TRX being priced out of the market. Other than the Final Edition trucks, the TRX is and has been a pretty good value within its segment. It was never intended to be a truck for your everyday truck buyer.

Throw a $50,000 sale price tag on the RHO and it will sell.

I feel like 2028 will be the “Last Call” for the RHO.

It will be interesting to see if they continue to sell it as a direct competitor to the standard Raptor.

But the reality is based on sales. And the actual "end-of-life" of the RHO depends on how much "RHO inventory" has been ordered from vendors/suppliers, plus they have to amortize the cost of specialized tooling. Automakers don't want to sit on millions of dollars of unique parts, so they will make additional vehicles (extend the run) to use up parts. For example, the Kia Stinger Tribute Edition (2023) was a doomed sedan, but Kia had to use up the inventory.

And as you point out, they can always sell on price (everyone will buy an RHO at $50K).

Yes, very true. Not an everyday driver for most. Still cant justify the price even though I can afford it. I bought my 2014 Raptor used and it has been a very good truck, the TRX has been the only thing that comes close to it but :unsure:

Screw that- I’m driving this bitch everyday. I’ve never put 100,000 miles on a vehicle, but that’s always been the goal for this truck. Unless my favorite dealer offers me a STUPID deal on a 2027, my next goal is 75,000 miles.

I didn't say it's not a good DD, because it is. It's just not the type of truck that your average truck buyer is going to purchase.
