As far as clowns go, no, not everyone who ordered a MY22 is a clown. However, those that join a forum and don’t so a cursory search for basic topics and the proceed to whine about the wait……….. those people are clowns. Straight up, full stop. Sadly, this group (811/812 vins) is/are special because there are so many of us. There are still 764xxx vins not delivered and that makes me feel horrible knowing that I have mine and they are getting properly Jeffed to this day.

Just saw a post on FB that a guys order for a 2021 was canceled and converted to a 2022. Wonder how they will schedule the orders…. Back of the line or first batch? In a way, I’m kinda bummed to be getting one of the last 21’s as my depreciation will feel like the biggest amongst 21’s.

Makes perfect sense if the dealer didn't have allocation.
I'm pretty sure they won't just change '21 orders to '22s for no real reason.

Roll call on everyone in this group that hasn't received their TRX yet. Mine went BS on 7/28 and WS on 7/29. Left Sterling Heights on 8/1 and has been collecting rail dust ever since. The following is the tracking information my dealer has been sending me. He checks daily and sends updates whenever there has been a change in status or location. Take note of the delay in Nampa, Idaho, Cascade Locks, Oregon and Englewood Oregon. It even back tracked 55 miles at one point due to rail equipment issues as we later found out. Final destination before getting unloaded from the rail car is Kent, WA at which time it will eventually get loaded on a car carrier to be delivered to my Dealer. Keep in mind, Kent WA is in between Seattle where it currently sits and Fife where it was before it arrived in Seattle. This is why NEVER track your order as it will drive you nuts! Ask me how I know....

I just checked.... Nampa, Idaho is a 7 hour drive from my house and 5 hours from my dealership. It arrived there on 8/10 and here it is 26 days later and it's still on the train! lol

My salesman was insistent that he cannot access these updates. He has been at this dealership for about 10 years so I will rule out ignorance based on experience.

Yes. The Sales Manager can track all orders but probably not a Salesman.

I hope you get real soon My dealer is telling me they average 10-14 days with their builds from sterling to Houston I hope it works out that way when mine eventually ships

Well, that answers a lot. There are two sales managers from what I gather at this dealership. One of them didn’t acknowledge my presence during the 4 month wait when I was at the dealership every week during that period. The other sales manager (probably the assistant sales manager) only interacted with me one time when I pressed my salesman about the timeline back in July. I distinctly remember him saying it will get here when it gets here as a response to me stating that I was trying to schedule vendors for the TRX directly after delivery. I wasn’t taken seriously by the dealership staff for months and I will not forget that. It was only on the day I did the paperwork and wrote a six figure check that I was judged worthy enough to be acknowledged by the sales manager. Pro tip: This is not how you foster a relationship with customers.

The low mileage on these late 21's will make up for a lot of the depreciation, I just hit 100 miles on mine. I noticed a 1/4 " hole at about the center of my drive shaft, it looks like it was punched not drilled. Has any one else run across this? My kids taking a pic to the service manager on Tues. I've looked at a lot of drive shafts and never seen this. Maybe a vent hole but kind of an odd place.

Well, shoot. You nearly doubled the standard 100 miles per day average on the first leg.
Now they have to slow it all down until it kinda matches again. And then some.

This is not a sprint, dammit, it's a marathon.

And just like that my truck is no longer on the train! Made it to the final rail yard this afternoon and is already unloaded! Dealer is making calls to get it loaded on the car carrier and delivered ASAP. Wednesday is looking like the day….

My first weekend with the truck report(sorry for the long post):

I went thru the “TRX Issues” checklist this weekend and couldn’t find anything wrong. So either the factory had their shit together when mine was built, or my dealership did one hell of a PDI. My money is on Jeff!

Oh, I did come across something puzzling during my own inspection. Anybody have any idea what these clips are that I found laying loose on the floor under the rear seats?

Installing the BakFlip MX4 was a total disaster. I ordered it from JustBoltOns 2-3 months ago and the shipping box had no damage. But when I finally opened it to do the install this weekend, the weather stripping and bump stops were mangled beyond use, one of the rails didn’t have the mounting plate attached, and a corner piece on the folding cover was snapped off. I checked the hours of JustBoltOns, and they are closed on weekends, bummer. I sent pics of everything to them in an email on Saturday and explained everything, figuring they wouldn’t get to it until today. To my amazement they responded same day! And by this morning, I had an email saying the manufacturer was working on expediting me replacement parts! I have to say, that is PHENOMENAL customer support! Many thanks to Mark and @Johnny@JustBoltOns ! They definitely earned my future business!

The last thing I’ll say is this truck is amazing and absolutely worth the wait, just like everybody else says! But it’s so true!
