TRX vs Raptor R Comparison. . .

Tough look for the R. Raptor forum is about to melt down.
No- those guys will scream about the R being better off-road and never built for drag races. Same thing they say about the EcoPoop Raptor vs TRX.

Honestly the 37 argument is ridiculous regardless, the raptor 37’s are a SUPER light c rated tire developed by bfg for Ford and the raptor r has 4.10 gears. Not really a disadvantage in my eyes

TRX won in the mud 🤣

I bookmarked this video for every time that argument comes up.

As far as I’m concerned the trucks are the same except for the aesthetic and the price.

And in the words of my 8 year old son… “Dad, a velociraptor loses to a TRex EVERY time”

Anybody know the speed rating on the Raptor R tires? I can’t seem to find any specs on it

Lol poor the fan bois, after paying a shiton of ADM, Ford announced the heated steering wheel won’t be available on the R due to material shortage. Take it or leave it, they said.

Ford could have made a much better truck in 2 years benchmarking the TRX.

Many here would take the plunge to the R if numbers made sense. Truck for Truck it's a matter of taste and a few details that are better in the R vs TRX and vice versa.

How to explain the $ gap other than, the "limited production" argument?

How can RAM spit these Hellcats out like tic tacs while Ford talks the "evolution to EV" but then brings Mustangs with V8s in 2023?

Lastly why would someone pay $120k for a V6 Raptor with wooden tie rods these days

...but...but....but...but...the Ford is ug lee.

I’m starting to understand the big truck stereotypes people throw around reading this forum and the Raptor forum.

I still believe Ford only built the R because they felt forced to do so by the TRX. I think they half heartedly built a truck just to be competitive not to dominate. (that would have taken some real commitment and money to do that). Ford is all about EV and forcing their customers in that direction. Raptor and Mustang GT are just window dressing. No Fords for me anymore.

Ford=Excuses

The R is like the child on the bench screaming for attention, “hey look over here! I can do that too! I can do it better!” …. “Not really! But nice try! 😏” says the TRX.

Looks like Ford didn’t have their Rocky III comeback after all.

“Still heavyweight Champion of all trucks! T-R-XXXXXXXXX!!!” 👑 🥊🏆🌎

Now everyone on the comments are saying both trucks are badass, when in the past everyone was trashing the Rex and praising the raptor R, funny how things just work out sometimes 🤣
I am glad you noticed this too! All these people saying the raptor will absolutely be faster. 😂 Reading back through this thread I am almost positive some people literally deleted their comments about how the Raptor was going to be faster. LMFAO!! 🤡

Electric is where it is all going unless something dramatically changes. It’s the reality of our government.

The big moment we have all been waiting for. FUCK YOU R
Hahaha! Exactly what I said after I watched the video. That settles it, line them up and see who wins….and….it’s the TRX! Stop now Ford talking about the power to weight and faster off road- yeah yeah. What are the ford fan boys going to come up with next…. Can’t wait. Also, the exhaust is still pretty weak, of course it’s better then the eco boost (with or without the trombone bullshit), but not great. The guy wanted more whine from the supercharger too. For the $25k (at least adms will be $30-$50+) difference in price, it’s a no brainer for the fastest truck with luxury interior…. go TRX.

Well… I had to check the Raptor forum quick to see what the Ford guys were saying, I don’t normally do that but this is the video we have all been waiting for. So funny, butt hurt for sure. Still talking tire size??? Stock vs stock fellas. The second post… “so close” but……no cigar. Hahaha.
