TRX stolen last night, need advice

Ask away. IGLA is by far the best option. Adding a full compustar alarm and disabling the neutral pull is about the best route to go. They can only get it by dragging it or flatbed.
Ravelco can be bypassed in seconds
Tazer is an options changer that can also be unplugged and returned to normal after making a new fob and relearning throttle parameters
Car lock, ghost lock, killswitchs, and anything else plug and play with readily available instructions online are a really bad idea
I have the IGLA and car lock plugged in. If they take it out it, move the truck ect it will alert me. Why is it a bad idea?

Because the point of an anti theft device is to stop a theft no “hope to recover”
Yes IGLA will stop the electronic portion but without IGLA its a total waste of money

I understand that, but its still alerting me the same as compustar or another alarm would it just doesn't make noise.

So there are no sirens? Im not very familiar with CarLock. Do you not want it to make noise?

And what happens when you are 20 minutes away, 2 hours away ect? They will be in your vehicle for X amount of time ripping it apart trying to figure out why it won’t start. You sir have an anxiety alert “OMG what are they doing to my vehicle” “how much damage is there” “ are they dragging it away” it goes on and on. Plug and play is just wasting time and money. Hardwired, hidden is the only way to go. Thats why most add a full compustar setup so everyone around also knows. It also cuts the damages that would occur drastically. Yes its better than nothing but you are not by it every minute of every day.

Side Note: NO ONE pays any attention to car alarm (siren) anymore.
How many times to you walk through the Home Depot or grocery store parking lot and you hear a car alarm or horn honking ........ and you dont even turn you head to look????? Me = 100% of the time.

just wanted to update the forum, I got a settlement in the low 90s from statefarm. I'm thankful for the support I got from this forum, now comes the uphill battle of trying to find a sandblast TRX with low mileage. Thanks alot
I have one. For $150K its yours 🤑

this is kinda what I thought about IGLA plus drone (no compustar) At least Drone has gps tracking but of course there is a monthly fee.

It plugs into obd port, if its removed, the truck is started or it detected a vibration my phone goes off. Its $10 a month. Figured its better than nothing and I don't really want to carry around 2 truck remote's. We'll see the way this forum makes me buy stuff I'll probably have the compustar soon.🤣🤣

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

You could go with the fastest color; Diamond Black. :sneaky:

Not any more for me! I always look but i get what you are saying. If i heard a Compustar alarm going off i would even cautiously investigate.

The monthly fee is one of the cheapest for what you get

Doesn’t seem like a bad price. Interesting that it has had two owners and only 5,700 miles.
I ran into this a lot when I was searching for my Sandblast. It was commonly the dealerships owner demo first before it changed hands once or twice. You'll see it a lot on any vehicle special release's regardless of brand.

$3k over MSRP for a 15 month old truck seems high to me. Maybe not in California or for someone that has to have a Sandblast. Mid $90's seems more appropriate.
