TRX Production Latest "Confirmed" Update Thread

I've been reading articles from that site but the name throws me off. I 've verified some of the info to be accurate thru other sources

And production schedule is actually changed, no longer 12 hours. I don't even think they are going to do weekends anymore.

yeah the name sounds like some U.S.S.R. propaganda website. according to my dealer, the FCA rep had said mine was scheduled to start production sometime next week. (week of nov 30 was exact phrase. im keeping fingers crossed this happens. but if virus is cranking and whitmer starts shutting things down up there my plans get blown to hell.

in the meantime, think ill have another beer

I’ve read a few places that this is the delay in production reason.

The more I read into the emissions the more complicated it is getting to follow along. On one had there is a certificate I've seen that shows it passed, then on the other hand reading all the crap about emissions credits it's a possibility that what is really delaying it.

I need to start putting some more pressure on my dealer. No one has ever even given me a projected build time, just that I have stayed in "D" status (and I ordered my LE 08/18/20). I am going to ask the dealer to reach out to the rep to see if they can get even just a little more info other than the same rhetoric.

Mine told me again today all his orders are stuck in D and doesn't have an update on the delays

This is very weird and I am going to take it with a grain of salt but my salesman (who has had a very pessimistic attitude about getting the truck before june of 2021) just texted me out of the blue and said:

Salesmen "Hey Brad, Update on your truck it has been painted and has moved into final inspection"
Me "Great News what is the updated status code"
Salesmen "Thats the weird thing it still shows the same D Status code. I called a friend to look into it and am waiting to hear back"

Up until now he has sent me a message every week saying

"no surprises your truck is still in D status I'll keep you posted but I still wouldn't expect delivery until late Q1 of 2021 at the earliest"

My VIN is 1C6SRFU91MN901162 I ordered the first week and I did not get graphics, sun roof, Harmon Kardon, Bead Locks, Red accents, or carbon fiber all of which have had rumors about delays....I tried looking up my build sheet and nothing came up which is suspicious unless Ram is purposely not loading any customer build information until they actually start shipping them out....

Again I'm going to take this with a grain of salt but coming from a salesmen who has clearly been through quite a few FCA Halo vehicle launches and has been trying to lower expectations from day 1 hopefully the information is reliable and good news customer vehicles are being built and being held up at the inspection process for some reason

Dealer rep just confirmed today after hearing from FCA. TRX has been pushed backed under 30 days before production starts....

Hope so. A guy can dream. Better be under two weeks when you consider the holiday downtime. I contacted my dealer today and he said his rep had no idea when they would be able to start building these. Here’s hoping your rep is right!

Not sure anymore, based on today's update. This another 30 days on top of the previous scheduled build date. Will be 60 days. I bet by Christmas time, they will tack another 30 days....

i got very similar story from my salesman yesterday. Said truck was built but waiting on some small items to finish the truck. But, status still shows as D. Weird.

Does your build have any of the items on it that are rumored to be in shortage (carbon fiber and beadlock wheels are the ones I hear the most)

I have bead locks but not carbon fiber.

Take this with a very small grain of Salt. But The District Manager of Ram in my area (Massachusetts) stated that production will be in full swing January 25th 2021. This was way out father than what's been stated and i hope he's wrong.

Hopefully full swing on the 25th and half swing earlier on Jan 4th

Talked to dealer today for the first time since Oct 10th. Said its "still in scheduling status" so I said no change then eh? "No" he said. Order was placed the day they accepted them with every option that's been reported to have delays. ?
