TRX order stuck

Hi all,

I've got a TRX on order from the dealer near me(Airpark Dodge Jeep Chrysler) in Arizona. I placed the order back in early February(so I'm not expecting it to be built just yet). The order is stuck in a pre-scheduling status, which one or what the reason code is Ram won't provide to me via chat. They said I need to contact the dealer. I've texted the guy at the dealer a few times and the text gets read but no reply. For reference, buying this as an individual, not a company. Dealer has a sizable downpayment. This is the only TRX I've bought/ordered. I currently own a Ram that I bought off the lot about 2.5 years ago(its a 21 Limited).

Would anyone have any ideas on what might have caused the order to get stuck? I'm going to go into the dealer this weekend and talk to them to find out why they aren't replying and see if I can figure out what's going on from them as well.

PM me if you have more issues from that dealer, ordered a redeye challenger and not getting much communication from them.

it’s along wait. Mine was 8 months from order to delivery. Was tired of waiting but glad I did. Great truck and very fun to drive. Small local dealer and discount from invoice. Held with original price even with the invoice going up almost $8,000. Most all options.

Have you get the VIN after you order it?

No worries, and I seriously doubt there is an issue with your order. It's just indicative of the stupid long process we are all going though. You are also not getting a horrible deal at MSRP, so don't sweat that. Many members on here have paid more. The point is to really enjoy what you bought!

If however you find that it gets under your skin, you have the option of walking away from your deposit, and ordering with one of the big discount dealers. Overall it might still save you money. It will also reset the clock, and you have to also consider the cost of having to ship it to you, or flying to go get it and drive it back. Your call of course.

As a further word to the wise, Ram Chat is PRETTY useless in general, so I would not bother with them. I have many experiences with them, almost none of them good. The only solid info you are going to get is by being a savvy user of this forum, and by working directly with your dealer. If the sales rep isn't responsive to your texts, I'd call the dealer directly and ask their sales manager for the info you need. That should help get results, and likely light a fire under your sales rep.

You are absolutely right, if they can't provide him the update or doesn't even wanna talk to him just go order somewhere else! I order mine at granger motor in Iowa back in 10/2021, i just got it in 4.23.2022. when i first put in my order the price was $92,000, they give out $9000 discount which is $84000 on my purchase price, and finally when the truck got in the dealership and the M.S.R.P IS $97000!!!!!, But they told me they give me a price protect, so im still paying $84000 for it , i was like what a smoke deal , i got a $14000 off sticker for a TRX !!! that is unbelievable, some of the dealer still marking up 5-10k for it!
