TRX IS RETURNING

If this all comes true, do you think it cements the return even in small production of the hellcat or 392 in the new charger Daytona line up. I must say I went to see it in person at a local dealers back showroom and I really like the body design and interior. I guess it’s 2 inches wider than a modern wide body challenger/charger here’s a picture next to my mothers challenger gt

Should be a hellephant, change the hood from a drop and lift it to fit the bumper. use that gap for massive air intakes to feed the beast. Ditch the fastback glass and make the wings like the classic charger with a trunk like a muscle car should have. You can see it all there, I think someone came in and said make it an ev. Why when you pop that front and can see a gas engine in there because there was supposed to be one!

The new chargers I think look fairly good as well, the interiors have gotten some much much much needed updating as well.
If they put a legit drivetrain in them I feel they would sell well.

I agree on the looks. They look good enough for me to buy one. If they put a V8 with enough power in it, I'm a buyer. If they want to get fancy, give me a V8 hybrid like the Corvette E-Ray with a V8 powering the rear wheels and an electric motor powering the front wheels, giving more power and AWD.

Yeah I was one to pre judge only seeing pictures that last few months but in person as always looks a lot different. I was very surprised on how much I liked the body style in person. I’ll go out on another lim here and say I tested out the fake exhaust as well with a few Revs and listening to it in “idle” I must say they did a pretty dam good job on the sound. Would I buy one no. But if your just buying the car to buy the car and for looks and could cear less about engine drivetrain and sounds. They nailed the sound for that type of buyer

Except there are very few buyers for that type of car and the EV Daytona is sitting on dealer lots. Here in CO, you can find them marked down $15K - $20K and still they sit.
Butter reported the HC will fit in the Daytona, so its just a matter of time before the HC Dayton makes its debut !

Agreed. Those type of buyers usually get something like a Honda CR-V or an Accord.

The only electrical power sources I want in my vehicles is the battery (for starting) and alternator. It's like "men and women", that's the way God intended things to be. :)

Its still too early to predict but a lot of people are saying the new Charger platform is one of the biggest FAILS in automotive history. I would agree with that statement. The car sucks. Nobody wants it along with the Hornet. Getting chastised across the internet.

Agreed, although I will say there are tons of 6 cylinder challengers in my area. So I can see a decent size market for the new charger Daytona. My mother being one of them. She just can’t justify the 55-85k for the stage 1, stage 2 but fell in love with the looks and the interior. But yes that’s the hope that we get the v8 in one. I do love how they incorporated the wide body into the actual body panel/lines and is even wider. I love the look of the wide body challengers but wished they made it a little more integrated into the body rather than the bolt on wide body

I’ve got a question to those that have ordered a TRX or got in on the 21’s when released. How does one go about trying to get an order? Start bugging my local dealership to check and see? This is all assuming the TRX does come back.

Thread '2023 RAM TRX deals below MSRP'

More than likely one of these dealers will be running deals and taking orders if the TRX isn’t allocation only. I ordered through Dan Cummins and waited 7 months for my ‘22

I started talking to my local dealer about a possible TRX purchase when the concept vehicle was first shown, a year or two before the TRX became official. Each time there was some new gossip about a possible TRX, I followed up with my dealer and reminded them I wanted it. When RAM scheduled their big announcement, which was rumored to be for the TRX, I talked to my dealer again, and they assured me I was number one on the list that included no other people. When it was formally announced, I drove down and paid a $500 deposit. The list, which was physically written on a white board in the managers office, now had six or seven names under mine. They only accepted a deposit from me and once the order bank was opened, my perfect truck was ordered. Had I waited for the official news, I wouldn't have gotten one nearly as fast.
